Burbo17J2 Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I honestly don't know why people are going into meltdown, we lost one game... That's going to happen, but we are 10th in the league ahead of the likes of Liverpool and Everton... And we have deserved it and 1 bad performance isn't the end of the world, I fully trust Nige and the team to bounce back against Burnley just like we did many times last season
blueonyou Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Agreed. Also Palace I thought played very very well, I think they will be top half this year.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I'm not sure that anyone (apart from the usual small group of doom-mongers) is going into meltdown. I do think that a lot of people took it for granted that after last week we could beat the like of Palace, who, unfortunately, for so many reasons, have improved under Colin.
shailen Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Even today we were in control until they scored and we ended up making them look dominant as we sent more players further forward and were caught on the break. Only criticism is that in these sort of games we need a little bit of creativity such as Knockeart or Mahrez but no complaints.
lgfualol Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 It's just major disappointment. Not everyone handles it well, etc etc. Not sure why voicing displeasure is so frowned upon in this place. Also this could have gone into the post-match thread.
Burbo17J2 Posted 28 September 2014 Author Posted 28 September 2014 I. Also this could have gone into the post-match thread. I did think of that, then i remembered someone would end up moving it anyways
st albans fox Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 The table is bo**ox after 6 games. Teams have played 'easy ' opposition and teams have had tough fixtures. We are a few points clear of the relegation area and the same number off a champions league spot - exactly. Pretty pointless analysing it ? What's clear is that we don't wan to get into a relegation struggle too early on so we just need to keep picking up points.

Anyway it's very rare for a team to win three in a row in the Prem, especially so early after getting promoted.
foxfanazer Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 Don't worry about it mate. The level headed people can see it for what it is. Unfortunately on here you get the same names popping up when we dare to lose a game. Brilliant start to what was always going to be a difficult season
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 No need to panic, but that was the easiest fixture of the first six, on paper. Bring on Burnley.
bovril Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 No need to panic, but that was the easiest fixture of the first six, on paper. Bring on Burnley. It's difficult to rank fixtures in the Premiership in terms of easy / difficult. Palace beat Chelsea at home last season. They have a new manager. On current form Everton at home was probably the most 'winnable'.
Wolfhound Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 I'm looking forward to more matches like the recent ones with Everton, then Arsenal and the great result against Manchester Utd.
