Guest Col city fan Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 What is your point? Is it that someone who isn't good enough to get in our team takes a nice set-piece? Why should we care? ..says the fella who pined after Waghorn long after he'd gone! Priceless!

Rob1742 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Albrighton was a very strange signing. In fact I think Pearson probably regrets it. Cover for Anthony and Mahrez yes, but then he has decided to go without width, so he has bought cover for a position we don't use. On top of that, I have two views from people inside football - one was he is a bottom half squad player at best, the other said "his head goes down as soon as things go against him" Bad move for us, and also bad for him
Bert Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Did I?Yep... You still have him as your avatar picture. It's not like he was a cult hero or a legend here like all the other posters with ex players as their avatar either.
The Doctor Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Did I? Remember Waghorn watch? You obsessed about him for quite a while.

It's not like he was a cult hero or a legend here like all the other posters with ex players as their avatar either. I like him. I don't want him back, and I've never claimed we should get him back. Having him as my profile picture doesn't mean I'm pining for him. Remember Waghorn watch? You obsessed about him for quite a while. I thought the tongue-in-cheek nature of 'Waggy Watch' was self-evident. --- http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/92606-waghorn-set-for-wigan-loan/#entry2861898 That post pretty much sums up my thoughts on Martyn Waghorn.
Mark Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Why the fook was he bought then? They sign some crap from the free transfer list they admit to looking at every season.
inckley fox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I see nothing wrong with him pining for Waghorn if he wishes to. We all have a few players who we love but who everybody else seems to think are shit. I thought Paul Ramsey was excellent, and David Oldfield, and considered Phil Gilchrist to be criminally underrated and much better than Frank Sinclair. I must have been wrong on all three scores, but for some reason I saw something in those three that a lot of others didn't.
lgfualol Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 It must be hard being a striker playing for a team that is scared to go forward. I love Ulloa
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Another player here on Albrighton that people are writing off already..... crazy. He looked very tidy pre-season and unfortunately got injured a week before the season and hasnt had much chance since. I appreciate he wasnt great against Newcastle but needs more game time for sure
yorkie1999 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Albrighton has done nothing to warrant a place in the starting 11, fair enough neither have the other players but riyad has played better than him But Riyad doesn't put the ball in from the byline, which is what is required with Ulloa. He cuts in at the edge of the penalty box.
