Burbo17J2 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I think its time for these two to play together. We already know what Ulloa can do with good quality service, and Albrighton crosses it for fun. So I don't understand why these two only started together at Newcastle.
chapero82 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Albrighton has done nothing to warrant a place in the starting 11, fair enough neither have the other players but riyad has played better than him
Burbo17J2 Posted 9 November 2014 Author Posted 9 November 2014 Albrighton has done nothing to warrant a place in the starting 11, fair enough neither have the other players but riyad has played better than himbut surely its worth a go? We all know what both of them can do, its just about letting them do it
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I really don't think Albrighton is good enough for the first team.
Burbo17J2 Posted 9 November 2014 Author Posted 9 November 2014 I really don't think Albrighton is good enough for the first team.He is our most experienced premier league player bar Upson... He knows what to do better than anyone else in our team...
westernpark Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 He is our most experienced premier league player bar Upson... He knows what to do better than anyone else in our team... Konchesky?
RowlattsFox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I personally would play Albrighton and Mahrez against Sunderland. Albrighton has not done anything in his appearances so far but he did At least try to get the ball into the box. Problem is both prefer the right I think.
Guest ttfn Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Albrighton looks like a Premier League Gallagher from what I've seen so far, but obviously that isn't very much given that Nige refuses to play wingers.
sdb Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Bit simplistic. Plus Albrighton is clearly not rated.
TOMBlcfc Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Can Albrighton play CM then? Surely that's the only way he'd get near the team atm
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Why on earth have we signed Leo, excellent in the air, then play literally no-one who can deliver a nice cross? Another decision I just don't get? Our best bloke to deliver crosses is on loan to Preston.. not that I rate Gally..but he's actually better with the dead ball than any of this lot.
lgfualol Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Albrighton needs a go. I'm sure we can drop one of our out-of-depth central mids to get him and Mahrez on the wings.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I agree. So far we haven't seen Marc at home and I think the keyto getting out of this slog we're in is not to dominate the midfield like we have tried to but get the service into Ulloa with crosses into the box on the counter.
Tuna Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Albrighton was given a 4 year contract obviously NP thinks he is good enough if he signed him. A little late to decide he's crap.
Father Ted Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Another decision I just don't get? Our best bloke to deliver crosses is on loan to Preston.. not that I rate Gally..but he's actually better with the dead ball than any of this lot. OH MY ****ING GOD, PLEASE FIND A MIRROR AND LOOK LONG HARD AT YOURSELF AT WHAT YOU JUST SAID, WE ARE NOT THAT DESPERATE.
Raj Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I really don't think Albrighton is good enough for the first team. Why the fook was he bought then?
Bamba's Babes Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Ulloa has scored four of his five goals from crosses. We have nobody who is willing to cross the ball other than Albrighton. Unfortunately Albrighton is rubbish. A new wide player is needed...Shock!
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 OH MY ****ING GOD, PLEASE FIND A MIRROR AND LOOK LONG HARD AT YOURSELF AT WHAT YOU JUST SAID, WE ARE NOT THAT DESPERATE. I'm not advocating we get him back! Just making a point..
ARM1968 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 It's not just crosses. Our team is embodying Pearsons fears. We need to attack, create problems. When we do we give other teams something to think about. We've clearly demonstrated that we can't keep clean sheets.
Mark_w Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I'm not advocating we get him back! Just making a point.. What is your point? Is it that someone who isn't good enough to get in our team takes a nice set-piece? Why should we care?
Bert Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Ulloa drops too deep too often I think. We never have anyone in the box.
Burbo17J2 Posted 9 November 2014 Author Posted 9 November 2014 Ulloa drops too deep too often I think. We never have anyone in the box.But that is probably because Nige is telling him to drop back
Soar Fox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 If he didn't drop back I doubt he'd touch the ball in the game. He's having to go deep to get involved in the play as he's getting fvck all service up top.
Gary Eatfood Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 What is your point? Is it that someone who isn't good enough to get in our team takes a nice set-piece? Why should we care? I think his point is that there is a severe shortage of quality going into the box at present for our record singing to attack. Actually, there's just a severe shortage of anything going into the box.
