Matt Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 My favourite was when we said we were going to turn somebody over under Sousa and then we got beaten 6-1 at Portsmouth. Yeah that sticks out for me, that was pretty much the comment I was talking about.
Raj Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I think some people are wearing blue tinted specs...its unreal!
Dynamogoon Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Positive all round. Result went wrong, but they are clinical and out of our league. Best performance since Man Utd game
sylofox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Just spoke to my lad he felt today was the best game for a while. He thought Hamer did well and that will give confidence to the back four. Personally think in Jan we need to stiffen up the back four. By doing so the midfield will have confidence and that will give us more going forward. It will also relieve the pressure on the forwards to score. Onwards and upwards a lot on here thought this would be 0-Hatfull My glass is half full today was a result better teams than us will get battered by man city.
Matt Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I can't reiterate enough whilst an ok performance is encouraging they're not going to keep us in this league, they will not get us points, this is getting very tiresome and becoming a cliche but where is our next win coming?
DennisNedry Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Turned a corner? Another OK performance but not quite good enough and 0 points yet again. Seems the same as what's happened for the past 3 months.

How many people, on here, thought we were gonna get hammered? 6/7 nil? They must be DELIGHTED by our performance.
Raj Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Good point Welly. How many people, on here, thought we were gonna get hammered? 6/7 nil? They must be DELIGHTED by our performance. They didn't get out of 2nd gear...bet most of them didn't even have a shower after, cos they hardly sweated..
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 They didn't get out of 2nd gear...bet most of them didn't even have a shower after, cos they hardly sweated.. You're getting boring Raj. Change the record..

Won't argue with you but is slagging the team and Nige off going to get us a win. Infact if we put the players on such a low can a new man turn them round. No not a Nige bummer but do think he could turn this round and learn is that not better than a sacking and taking 5 managers to get back here?
Gazza M Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I thought we were more competitive in that 4-5-1 formation today and Vardy's pace realy caused them problems. I thought the defence was pretty solid today and worked well as a unit, cathcing them offside on a number of ocassions. In midfield we had a bit more bite. I thought Knockaert did well in his fifteen or so minutes at the end of the game. Overall though we are ruing the lost points to Burnley, West Brom & Sunderland. They are the games we must win. We can't rely on beating the top teams. I think when we get to the half way point, we will need to be on 16 points, giving us a chance of getting 24 from the next 19 games to reach the magic 40 points. That would mean 2 wins from West ham away, Spurs at home and Hull away. For me, the owners have either got to throw money at it or concede defeat and save their money for the folowing season's promotion push. I hope if we go down we go down fighting, so please lets have a go. I think we have to expect to be shopping in the championship or abroad for our players as that's all we can attract. personaly I would break the bank and sign Jordan Rhodes and Troy Deeney. It may cost the club 25 million, but lets have a go and see if combined with Ulloa they can get us firing. We need a left back and centre half and a midfielder who can put the ball in to the box with some quality.
Raj Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 You're getting boring Raj. Change the record..and your deluded col.
sylofox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 They didn't get out of 2nd gear...bet most of them didn't even have a shower after, cos they hardly sweated.. Really than city fans should be more worried than us.

Oh my probably isn't with Pearson and I suppose it's not with the players - they can't help not being good enough, it's just unfortunate that is the case though, I will not beat about the bush though, i've said it, it is a quality issue and they are not good enough.

kyleolly Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Man City never got out of 2nd gear one of there fans told me it was the shittest he's seen them play since they were in league 1

I can't see us getting better either thats my worry...
nettle Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Pearson must have the worst record of any premiership manager in its history and still be in a job, l can't understand it everybody seems happy with losing. We had better turn the corner soon because it's becoming embarrassing.

I can't see us getting better either thats my worry... I can't even see transfers making much different if i'm honest, we need a whole new team to compete and win in this league not just addition's here and there. We can't afford to be centimental, yes we all loved these players last year they were great, but they've took us as far as they can take us for me.

Won't argue that fact but credit where it is due. As I said most thought 0-Hatfull it was far from it so just a little credit might be due we were playing the champions not dull city. And as I said better sides than us will get that 0-Hatfull score this season.
cityfanlee23 Posted 13 December 2014 Author Posted 13 December 2014 and your deluded col. Raj you seem to troll everyones post with the same bullshit all day on here, but I am yet to see you give us the solutions to our problems? what do we need to do to save ourselves? And dont just say "Sack pearson" or "Sign 10 players" Who would you sign? what formation would you play? What would your role be for each individual player? What manager would we have? I mean, for somebody with such an assurance of his own opinion being correct constantly, you must be a very intelligent footballing man, Please wave your magic wand and tell us what you would do to stop us being the shower of shit you claim us to be constantly. Because to be quite frank, im starting to lose my rag seeing your crap every day... I've never seen any constructive criticism from you or any sort of solution that is at least viable or even slightly likely to happen.. I'd love to hear an indepth insight from your endless amounts of footballing genius.

A fine answer to back up your constant argument towards belittling every single decision the team or backroom staff make, with clear concise reasoning behind your debate. Well done Raj, I'll make sure I don't even bother to read your posts anymore when I see your name.. As most will follow suit I expect. Clueless stereotypical football fan. Well done Raj, Well done.

Sorry didntt know you needed FA coaching badges to post on a footy forum...must go and read the posting rules...thanks! If you can't see that our players gave it their all and very nearly pulled off a draw against a very talented and expensively assembled side, you weren't watching the same game. I've been critical of us this season. So no, I'm not deluded. But not today, I thought we looked every bit a side who are still fighting. I'd go and watch Burton if I were you.
