bit young to remember much about Bergkamp but Henry was the main man when I was growing up.

 

Don't know if it's just me reminiscing from being a child and watching football, but I always thought the Prem and probably world football was at it's strongest between 2001-2006.

Not as good as Bergkamp for me (always said Bergkamp is the greatest to play in the PL) but a fantastic player and no doubt one of Arsenal's greatest. His partnership with Bergkamp was brilliant, but so were those Arsenal teams. Still the best team I've ever seen live.

Loved him at Arsenal, hated him for being such a cheating cu.nt v Rep of Ireland in the World Cup play offs and having the nerve to console the Irish players after the game.

This is not going to be popular on here but there is a great case for Shearer being the best player of the premier league era.

Ronaldo at his peak in this country was better than Henry at his but it went on for like 10 years in Henry's case.

I used to love watching all of these play, the order could be debated forever. Bergkamp for me the best, because of that hat trick at Filbo. I saw it live and a performance I will never forget. Would also say Cantona and Zola were slightly better than Henry, but not by much.
