The Blue Moon Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 How? I'd have definitely gone if it was free. Couple of ways but the easiest is simply swiping same ticket twice. First person swipes goes through and quickly passes back for second person to swipe and use it, you have about 3 seconds and that works 90% of the time. Works with season ticket cards and normal ticket stubs. If the second person is the actual ticket holder, then you just kick off with the steward that the ticket won't swipe and they can't be arsed with the hassle (especially if it's bang on 3pm) and just let you through. Rare that you have to resort to plan B. A couple of years ago a few claimed they'd lost their season ticket and got a replacement for a tenner but the old card still worked so two ST's for price of one. That season in L block sometimes you didn't even have to get a ticket out your pocket to get through as the swipe system was fucked but I'm not sure if they've worked out how to switch off the old ones now. Either way the double swipe will work. At away games, a famous trick is to get to the main reception early and each player has an allocation of 2 tickets. Better to use lesser known players as they can't remember if they've already handed them, so just say Marc Albrighton has 2 tickets aside for me in the away end. Then off into their town on the booze and you can either flog them or go the game.
MPH Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 In the standing days i Used to buy tickets for the home cop on away games as they were often cheaper then I'd get to the ground get the ticket and go to the copper outside the home end and tell him me dad bought it for me through an agency and i couldn't possibly go in here and show him my city top. They'd always take me straight to our end. Worked every time.

MickyAdamsBaby Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Nice ripping off the club and the players well done The club will rip you off at every possibility and the players are millionaires who don't care about fans whatsoever. If it was the local amateur dramatics club, the OAP bingo hall, a charity football match then it'd be out of order. For a premier league club whose owner is a millionaire then fair play. What goes around comes around - they take the piss out of the fans, you can try and take the piss back

All you're doing is adding to the requirement for stewards and ticketing systems which make ticket prices more expensive for honest fans.

Good one.
ealingfox Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Just reported The Blue Moon to the Club tbh. Big Nige and Jim from Fanzone are on their way round to yours now mate.

Strokes Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Kin ell, I mean I've gained access using a concession many times but jumping the gate is taking the piss.

All you're doing is adding to the requirement for stewards and ticketing systems which make ticket prices more expensive for honest fans. I couldn't give a shit to be honest, I've given that club everything for the past 43 years and when I asked for character references to appeal my ban they didn't want to know. They don't care about us so why should we care about them. And being a Premier League club is only going to make them more mercenary. As far as bending the system goes I think all big clubs are fair game, hence why I'll take the piss at away grounds and Wembley too. Been to 3 of the last 5 FA cup finals for free by playing the system at Wembley but I'm not posting that on here you'll have to private message me.
melrose Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Don't go then. The trouble with that is both parties are missing out, the fan & the club!
MooseBreath Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 The trouble with that is both parties are missing out, the fan & the club! In the short term yeah but in the medium term if people don't pay £37 then the club will have no choice but to drop the prices.
Maybes Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Using replacement season tickets doesn't work anymore. They switch the old one off.

I bet you're so proud of yourself if those scams further up actually work at all. You say 'people claim' which makes me think they didn't. For the record Wembley was easy to get into, you jibbed the turnstile with the person infront as the stewards stand so far back and are more concerned about plastic bottles and what's inside fans bags. Not always a success either as a lot get spotted and stewards to man the outsides of the turnstiles as well. Never done it myself but have seen it and heard about it before. It's no secret how to do it so why are you trying to be a big in the know poster with your message me and I'll tell you?
melrose Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 I private messaged him hours ago & he hasn't replied Looks like you're right promised land...full of shit!

Ha, not a bad shout rear ending someone through the turnstile but I wasn't on about that. Specifically FA cup finals you can get yourself on a list for a genuine free ticket if you know how to tick the right boxes. This one I won't be sharing, because it jeopardises my own chances and I'll be able to sell on the free ones and make a fortune when LCFC make this year's final.

Oh and once you've made your fortune, I guess it won't matter if you sell more on for free because, you know, you're rich and all that and it won't matter by your logic .
BlueJoe Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Does anyone know the maximum number of tickets that I could have purchased this week please I can't get an answer in this thread! I know right... Just wish people were to the point!
jammie82uk Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 What's that smell...Can anyone else smell it? Maybe if everyone ignores all their silly postings they may just shut up and go away to find the much needed attention they clearly crave elsewhere
