Silverdaz Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 it seems after the Man Utd game referees have come to conclusion that no matter what dont give Leicester a penalty, some of the decisions recently have been ston wall affairs im thinking of the two against spurs the one on Vardy then when the defender tried to rip Ulloa shirt off his back in the box.
Dan Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 I honestly do think some naturally think of that one we got against Man Utd and turn a 50/50 decision (assuming they haven't seen it) against us. I just cannot believe that one in the first half against Villa. It was an absolute 100% stone-wall penalty and I could tell that from about as far away in the ground as you can be.
David Hankey Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Penalties; you win some, you lose some. We've all seem them given when really they weren't one and we've all seen the ref miss a stonewall incident. Until we have some form of instant replay included then the debate will continue. There are also plenty of players looking for pens every time they get near the box. Who'd be a ref with a one real time look at every incident, no thanks!!
Langley Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 No. We'll never get another penalty. Ever. That was the Last one we'll ever see. #RIPLEICPENOS2014VMANU

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 the penalty that Vardy (?) didn't get against Spurs when Vertonghen took his legs out was absolutely criminal. One of the most nailed-on penalties I've seen for years and cost us a point if not 3. **** Neil Swarbrick #neilswarbrickincompetentclown
Fox 4 Life Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Ulloa's was not a pen, he panicked and lost his footing, soft to say the least. There have definitely been some bad decisions whether it's us not being given them (Spurs) or Liverpool getting 2 that shouldn't have been.
ousefox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 we used them all up last season some of the decisions we've had recently have been disgusting
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 BlackburnClaret has put a curse on us.
ealingfox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 As I've said before, the officials and authorities have been out to get us since we humiliated their beloved Man United. Clear as day.
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Bombard Lineker with emails about all the horrific decisions we've been on the wrong end of. He will then persuade his bosses at motd that we need to see a clip, the embarrassment caused to the refs association will be monumental. Within two weeks we see the rebirth of penalties home and away. Nugent goes onto score 9 of them. We finish 14th. Sorted
Robin JD Popley Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 BlackburnClaret has put a curse on us. In all seriousness though; the officiating at this level does not merit the wage they receive. Awful is putting it mildly... Think I could do a better job after a night round Loughborough!
RonnieTodger Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 I think Vardy has given himself a reputation after winning so many penalties. Andy Johnson style.
DB11 Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 I think the amount of penalties we got last season was enough for a number of seasons

There are also plenty of players looking for pens every time they get near the box. Who'd be a ref with a one real time look at every incident, no thanks!! Much of what you say is true, but there can no excuse for not giving Vardy pens against Spurs and Man City, or Hammond against Villa. On all three occasions the referee was close and all three the ball has been knocked past the defender, who then clatters our player. Simple easy decisions, verified by TV replays and endorsed as penalties by independent viewers ( ie TV pundits). Furthermore, after Saturday's showing I dont know what referees need to do to be called to task by the FA over their incompetence. Every time a Villa player went to ground it was a free kick even if nobody within a yard of them. I do think at the moment we can be forgiven for thinking there is a conspiracy against us. But that could never happen in football could it?Of course there is the fact that the world governing body is rotten to the core with dishonesty and curruption to make us ponder! I'm sure we will get another pen - but only when it won't alter the result. That's how I'm feeling the the present time.
