For all the money and talent at his disposal (and I think Villa have a decent team on paper), he failed to deliver massively.

In three years, he managed to achieve a 25% win ratio and the recent scoring record's also appalling.

Bad timing for us - still, there's hope we can make it past them in the Cup.

Has he spent that much?

It said in the paper Benteke was his most expensive signing at 6.5million?

I've not checked but if that's the case he might have done a decent job just keeping them up.

Falcao is a class forward but worried he's turning like Torres. Not convinced they get nearly the best out of him either. I think him and RVP are too similar in some ways.

unfortunate timing from our point of view - dead cat bounce/ demise of unpopular manager = salvation in the cup . Lets hope we kept something back after the gunners disappointment

falcao was never going to fully recover from his injury an become the old falcao, who, for about 12 months or so was easily the best "number 9" in the world.

Yeah. Falcao was great but you just don't ever get back to 100%.With that sort of injury at that age.
