What do we need to do to stay up?

Only ever seen Wood have one decent game - Fulham at home in the cup. That night he was a handful for their defenders. All too often his first touch is poor, he lacks mobility and in general does not work hard enough to secure his place.

What do we need to stay up? I've tried to be positive this season and I do not want us to become a club on tha 'manager merry-go-round' but what we need is a bloody miracle (and Wood is not the miracle we need).

Not saying Wood would be the miracle all I'm saying is I can see Wood and Kramaric linking up well. Wood has strength and the ability to keep the ball up from the 7000 balls aimlessly shot into the attacking half by the goalie/centre half. Therefore Wood wins the ball 7000 times and Kramaric finds the net

If, and it's a big if, we beat Everton tomorrow we are TWOOOOOO points from safety!

I really want to believe but think we will ultimately go down.

What we need to do, to quote Jock Wallace is fight like bears. I'm just not convinced the players are up for it as much as we are, and until they are our situation won't change.

From the start tomorrow make every pass an accurate one, no stupid free-kicks given away, win every header in the penalty area, every tackle in the midfield, beat the first defender with every corner.

Stoke and Palace were must wins and we didn't. Here's another must win to put us back in the mix.

An old teacher told me that tights go down and mites go up (I think this may have been a reference to stalagmites and stalagmites).

So if we avoid any form of pantyhose we should be fine

What is with FoxesTalk and this love of Wood? He is shit.

Did you see all those clubs coming in for him in January...

I certainly don't think Wood is the answer but hasn't he been injured?

Wood is less mobile than Leo. last 10 mins at hull. Under the cosh. The ball kept coming back. Wood couldn't hold it up at all.

However, he did score in the opener against Everton so expect Nigel to pick him!

Here's a few suggestions as to what to do:

Minimize mistakes at the back.

Be more clinical in front of goal.

Be more apt at linking midfield to attack (lack of a proper attacking midfielder could be costly, it seems - or else rely on Nugent?).

Avoid losing possession so easily.

And last but not least:

Fans who get behind the team (including the manager).
