Rushden fox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 There are many good questions posted on our forum, Some for NP to answer, some for us to have a go at and some for the board. So my question is simple and for everyone concerned with LCFC, what do we have to do to stay up. I think we need to consider an amalgamation of the start of the season and now. Firstly recall Moore and Delaet from the early part of the season and add Hugh and kamaric from the later. Drop Morgan and reinstate Hammond. Our team should be 3-5-2 Hamer Was. Moore. Huth Delaet. schlupp (wing backs Hammond Cambiasso James kamaric (playing away from home) Vardy. Kamaric (At home) I know I will get flack for leaving out arguably our best player so far this season but I feel he needs to play ing a confident team where slick passing and subtle runs are back being part and parcel of our games. Also I think NP needs to reconsider his policy of constant chopping and changing the team. Consistency has to be the key in this league run- in. My final point has to be to stop bringing on Ulloa with 20 mins left as he just keeps giving the ball away or pointless fouls. We have a substandard team with good fight, let them get used to each other for a few games.
AKCJ Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 We should score some more goals and then not let any goals in IMO.
MooseBreath Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 We need at least 18 points from 13 games after getting 17 points from the first 25 games. With tough games coming up there's every chance we'll go into the last nine games needing nearly two points per game, or top-four form. We need to find a way of transforming from being the worst team in the league by some distance, into one of the best, with the same manager and same players. To say it's a big ask is one hell of an understatement. As a fan I feel better to just accept relegation at this point and enjoy being in the premier league while it lasts.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 We need to hope that this season is one of the lowest ever points totals required to stay up. Anything required over 30 in my opinion we are not good enough to catch.
biggs Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 To win the next game.....repeat message 13 times
Guest MattP Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 In all seriousness we need to have a blinding April and May where we have a nice set of fixtures. If we do that we can stay up. The psychological impact of being too far off could be extremely injurious though to the squad.
Buzzell Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 A couple bags of miracles, a bag of determination and a shit load of luck.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Whatever it is we need, we need it now!
Brooksy Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Whatever it is we need, we need it now! Redknapp?

wiltshirefox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Last two games Sunderland then QPR. If we can still be in touch by then I genuinely think we will be OK. Too many people on here quick to write off our chances but the performances have been mostly good and the maths say we still have a great chance of doing it. In some ways perhaps we need a change of mentality as fans and think like we are 5 points off a promotion spot which we sort of are. Think in terms of what we have to gain rather than what we have to lose.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 We need to keep the togetherness of the squad and fans which I feel in any club, is a key attribute to have in my opinion. If we get a good run of results I think then, we may possibly have a decent chance of survival.
Pasty1 Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Lennon??? Like Pearce at Forest??? Won't work..... Stick with Pearson he's learning!!!
Clever Fox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 I think Sundays line up will tell us if we have any chance of survival. if NP continues with Schwarzer and Wes in the team then we are in trouble.
HitchinFox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 There's nothing we, as fans, can do when it comes to tactics, selection, training, preparation, managerial decisions or injuries. Coming up with hypothetical solutions to what the owners should do or who Nigel should play (and where) can be fun - especially over a pint in a pub. Sure, we can come up with a fantastic 4-3-2-1 system that we think would keep us up. We can say that what we need is for Pearson to go and for Laudrup to come and save us. But it won't make a blind bit of difference what we think. There is something we can do however, and that is to support the team. Create an atmosphere at home. Try and intimidate the opposition. Encourage our lads. Whether we love or hate Pearson, we should get behind the team and try an create an atmosphere. In every game – at least for as long as we still have a chance of staying up. If it becomes clear at some point that we're doomed then that's the time to show our disappointment. But not before. We knew this would be a tough season. It's turned out to be tougher then we thought. But to answer your question: "What do we need to do to stay up"There's only one thing we as fans CAN do. We support. We shout. We sing. We encourage. We go mental. We ask the quiet guy next to us to shout and sing too. Hug him if you need. We need to try and make the job for those who CAN keep us up – the players, the gaffer – easier. Why? Because Foxes never quit.
