The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 June 2016 Author Posted 17 June 2016 I've got tickets for the semi and final should we get that far but after getting home today I've got the bug again. Trying to get quarters tickets sorted just in case
peach0000 Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Planning a trip next weekend to hopefully see our 1st knockout game on the Sat (should we win the group). Any suggestions where to stay in Paris? How are the campsites? I stayed here http://www.camping-indigo.com/en/paris-indigo-campsitea few days ago. It was the official campsite for the german supporters club and right near the parc de prince. Fairly easy to get to the eiffel tower fan zone as well. Not sure about stade de france though. Facilities were top quality as well.
GaelicFox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Bordeaux last night was crazy money to get pissed but we managed it !
VLC86 Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Paying 12 euros for a pint. Madness where was that?!? They have had you there mate.
Dr The Singh Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Anyone fancy a trip to Paris with me Do we have to share beds??
ousefox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 where was that?!? They have had you there mate.Went on a bike ride to the dune of pilat, saw this bar by the beach and ordered them without looking at the menu. Every city I've been to has been expensive though. Even the supermarkets seem ridiculous.

Reminds me of the time i was wrecked in Madrid and ordered 3 shots of Sambuca and got charged £30 hahahah
ousefox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Don't get me started on the lack of taxi's in this country either. I had it last time I was in France, they just don't have them anywhere!
VLC86 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Don't get me started on the lack of taxi's in this country either. I had it last time I was in France, they just don't have them anywhere! It made me laugh, the French really don't want money from the English. Imagine over here if we had a tournament? Taxis everywhere milking it. Even in bars and restaurants they just didn't give a shit which is possibly understandable considering the trouble but on Saturday morning we tried to get breakfast and had to visit 3 different cafes where they wouldn't serve us before returning to the first where they took ages to bring us any food. In the fan zone for France V Romania they had about 5 staff behind the bar but they were all involved in the pouring of 1 pint at a time, it was like chuckle brothers.
CosbehFox Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Watching from afar, it strikes me that the people of France don't really want the tournament given its state of emergency. Understandable really
Voll Blau Posted 20 June 2016 Posted 20 June 2016 Saw Leicester fans in Paris today with newest shirts on. Anyone on here? Was outside fanzone Genuinely reckon I saw more Leicester shirts in Lille/Paris than those of any other non-French side last week. Enjoyed the respective fanzones but the beer situation for England v Wales in Paris was a joke. Luckily found decent bars everywhere we went, although found the beer overpriced and shite in Paris personally.
