Few people on the England forum got Russia tickets. A woman got a Wales ticket. My mate was trying for Wales tickets but haven't heard anything from him yet

Got through after an hour of queueing but none left for any we could make while we're over there. Ah well, just Romania-Switzerland for us.  lol

Can't wait for this now. Basically doing a 16 day tour of the south of France and taking in Austria-Hungary, Ukraine-Poland and hopefully France's last 16 game.

Decided to go by train which is ridiculously cheap, and using airbnb, as well as hotels. Should be awesome.

My colleague got two England-Wales tickets on Fri. Logged on at 2:40, in the queue at 2:45, onto the portal at 3:00, selected Eng-Wal whacked in his card details that were on the clipboard and order confirmed. All this while me and another were furiously hitting the refresh button just trying to queue.

Mad isn't it?!

I've only had to use the UEFA portal once for the Italy Quarter Final the day after we'd qualified for it

As it was in Kiev demand wasn't that high so was dead easy to get

3 old boys escaping the shackles of family for 10 days by van.1 night in Lyon on the way down to Aix En Provence for 2 nights for the Russia game in Marseille. Then 3 nights camping in Lyon be there during the Belgium v Italy game & Portugal v Iceland in St Ettiene. off to Bois de Boulogne camping in Paris for last 3 nights, doing day trip to Lens for the Wales game by train. I'm getting near to gallivanting retirement age now & Russia & Quatar are not an option so this is my last England trip. To be doing it wearing City colours makes it a bit special.

I've not found a definitive answer online- These toll road chips you can order which just deduct the cost through a DD account (similar to an Oyster card) Are they transferable between vehicles? Basically we won't know the reg of our motorhome til 1st June and could do with ordering this chip thing this weekend. Can I put my car reg in on it (assuming it even asks for a reg number when applying) and then use it for our hired motorhome?

Not entirely sure but I would guess it's a no. Them roads are mega expensive and I can't really see them wanting to make it so you could transfer between cars.

There's a south of France resident on here isn't there? Trying to work out how much I'm likely to spend in 16 days. Food, drink, metro, museums etc.

I was in Lyon for a week last year and it seemed quite pricey - don't know different the rest of the region is?

Sounds like there's an alcohol ban in Lens on the day of the Wales game.

Can anyone recommend any campsites in Lille please?

Anyone on here have any idea about what parking in Lens in like? Or about any nearby towns to park and get the train in? Driving to the England Wales game!

You'd want to park in Lille and train it in mate. But by the sounds of it unless you've tickets for the match you'd be better off boozing in Lille for the game

Has George sent the tickets?

Yes mate iv got them. Still waiting for my England Fans ones though but should have them in the next few days.

I certainly do have tickets for the game! Problem is I'm off to the Germany Poland game in Saint Denis later that day, so need a fairly quick getaway!

No alcohol for the fans before England/Wales it seems (well apart from in the fan zone)

From BBC:

French authorities are to impose a 24-hour alcohol ban in the city of Lens for the Euro 2016 meeting of England and Wales. The ban will start on 06:00 BST the day, but will not apply to the 10,000 capacity fan zone.

.

Why pick on England and Wales - not the only potential trouble makers...
