Fox92 Posted 21 December 2015 Posted 21 December 2015 Platini only has himself to blame should his reputation be ruined. One of the greatest footballers ever, now banned from the game.
MC Prussian Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 Blatter remains defiant and will challenge the ban by court: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/35618619 Of course you cannot "buy" a World Cup, but how about letting some money flow to have the vote swing in your favour? He has a way with words, the cheeky old git. People from the Swiss Canton of Valais (where Blatter is from) are usually said to be overly pig-headed, anyway. The lack of acceptance of guilt shows. (Sorry for generalizing myself here)
Wymsey Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Can't help but think some of the votes will be via bribes unfortunately.
Carl the Llama Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Can't help but think some of the votes will be via bribes unfortunately. Exactly. We should make them vote in see-through booths so we can tell that nobody's bribed them before they came to ballot.
RoboFox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 The whole s**t-stained organisation needs completely dismantling and rebuilding from the ground up to rid it of it's turnover of quasi-totalitarian regimes. I always said that that during the height of all the scandal, the FA should have been the first to threaten to walk away from UEFA to get the ball rolling, other major football associations would soon follow and put pressure on UEFA to act. UEFA would have no choice but to threaten to leave FIFA, and FIFA is nothing without European football. But people love football regardless and money talks. They'll still pay to go. Unfortunately we're never going to see any sort of reform on the scale that's needed. And there's not a lot that anyone can do about it.
Jattdogg Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 I agree. Guaranteed a few of the tw@ts left behind are dirty like blatter
