Ricey Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 After being impressed by last years game I decided to download the FIFA 06 Demo and after playing it for awhile I'm very impressed. I didn't buy last years game due to poor shooting and lack of realism (Leicester had the blue side of the fosse gold kit as our home kit) but judging by the demo the shotting has improved a lot. It's not as good as PES in terms of Gameplay but it's closing the gap.
Anish Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 Cheers for the link, I'll give it a go...but 219mb for a demo download?! Damn, I'll have to download it overnight.
Libertine Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 PES rules all, Fifa is improving slowly though.
rossporterlc Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 i'm more looking forward to tiger woods pga tour 06, double analogue stick action
Gené and Tonic Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 hmm, not too impressed wth it. But it does have the potental. Should be much better on the Xbox I feel
SystonFox Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 ive had every fifa since fifa internatiol world soccer 1995 and i will defintely be getting 06. its so addictive.
Darth Fox Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 I agree about last years FIFA it was a step back in terms of everything in FIFA 2004. It has gathered dust since I bought PES4, trully addictive game.
Ricey Posted 1 September 2005 Author Posted 1 September 2005 I'm a attention to detail gamer so for a long time I've craved FIFA's authenticity and superb presentqation but with PES's gameplay, finally now I think FIFA has the gameplay that makes it bearable for me to play and to enjoy it. Obviously I'll still play PES though but possibly only for multiplayer games as I get bored of the Master League.
LoneWolf Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 it dnt work for me, saying not valid with windows or sumut
City Fan Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Pro Evo wipes the floor with FIFA everytime.
Hitesh Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Pro Evo has been the pick for the past few years but as Libertine (KC) said, FIFA is improving. Im downloading the demo as i speak so i will come back with my opinion. Is there any news on a PES demo?
Foxes_Wizard_Striker Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 PES rules all, Fifa is improving slowly though. Indeed
Ricey Posted 1 September 2005 Author Posted 1 September 2005 Is there any news on a PES demo? Probably won't be for another month or so.
City Fan Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Is there any news on a PES demo? No point in a demo because its the same game every year but with a different cover on!
Hitesh Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 No point in a demo because its the same game every year but with a different cover on! You could say the same about FIFA then!
CasinoGee Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Apparently this is the last year that EA have all the licenses, including the FIFA name.
Cat Burger Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Very very good demo, doesn't run that well on my laptop but I'm sufficiently impressed enough to make the decision that I'm buying it for cube, not out for another month though
Hitesh Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 It does look a lot better but i cant play these games on my keyboard! I do have a PS2 USB adaptor but my cousin is borrowing that at the moment. From what i have played though it has definitly improved but ill make proper judgment when i have seen the competition!
Cat Burger Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Unfortunately it does not have competition on the gamecube, Konami obviously think they are too good for the gamecube, which is obviously the best platform out at the moment...no pro evo for me!
City Fan Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Konami obviously think they are too good for the gamecube, which is obviously the best platform out at the moment
