The issue with selling our best players is that the money will be used to service our debts NOT to reinvest in the playing squad. Great post. Some of our fans are living under a rock with their "tear up their contracts" views. The players are not fans. This is their job. There is no way that I would uproot my entire life and family to earn less money. He can see out his final year and earn ~£2.5m. Who can blame him?

With PSR, you cannot do either of these. I fear that we will have to sell some promising academy products (pure profit) and Fatawu (will exceed his book value). I hope that we can loan Faes back to Monaco to cover his wages and that someone takes a punt on Winks. If we win and back it up with a win at Sheffield Wednesday on Monday, then I think that we stay up. We then have Swansea at home before travelling to Fratton Park to play an out of form Portsmouth. I truly believe that another 13 points will see us stay up. As long as we go into the final game in 22nd place and within 3 points of Blackburn, then I give us a chance.
