I'm not a fan generally of brutal architecture pulling that down though does nothing for the environment. I'm all for restoring buildings unless they were made in the 60s/70 out of cardboard and cheap concrete. Restore it and turn the whole area into a shopping destination, with on the spot parking to the rival the Highcross bring some life back into this part of the City. There's lots of potential around there with a bit of imagination and ££s It used to be a very busy popular spot with the Tesco and other shops plus the Bowling Alley. This was built when the City were leaders with the ground breaking carpark, central Supermarket and the largest single floor bowling alley, 36 lanes in the UK

Youri Tielemans Tielemans' time at the King Power Stadium will always be remembered for his wonderstrike in the FA Cup final four years ago. He left City in the summer of 2023 following their relegation from the Premier League and joined Aston Villa. He featured 195 times for City, scoring 28 and assisting 26. The majority of his goals will be remembered for his long-range strikes - think Wolves and Everton in 2022. On the back of lifting the Europa League with Unai Emery's team, the midfielder is expected to be key in Belgium's World Cup campaign. Tielemans has been a mainstay in the Belgium national team since making his debut 10 years ago and he recently scored in their World Cup warm-up win over Croatia. Harry Kane The clinical goalscorer has become one of the best strikers of his generation since his loan move at Leicester. Kane scored twice in 15 appearances under Nigel Pearson in the season the Foxes lost to Watford in the play-off semi-final. Since then, he has bagged 78 in 112 caps for England and will play a vital role in the Three Lions' hopes of ending their wait for success in a major tournament. Thomas Tuchel's men have been placed in Group L alongside Croatia, Fatawu's Ghana and Panama. Timothy Castagne Another Belgian player formerly of City is Timothy Castagne. The attacking wing-back enjoyed three seasons in LE2 before being one of many players to be sold after relegation. He moved to Fulham and has been an ever-present under Marco Silva.
