What annoys me

Excuse the little rant I'm about to go on but something annoyed me a bit yesterday.

I know everyone has fan favourites which is fair enough (even if they're not our best players) but when the manager, assistant and backroom staff have put out 11 players that they think will be the best group for the particular game, why do some of our fans feel it necessary to start chanting player's name that aren't even in the squad let alone starting lineup?

When Kirkland is standing in front of the Kop and we're chanting "Weale Weale" do people really think that's going to have anything other than a negative affect on his performance? Even more pointless is singing a Fryatt song after Bednar came on when he's not even on the bench (and probably leaving the club in less than a week).

Fair enough have an opinion on who should be playing but I really don't see the point in damaging the players confidence who are actually on the pitch. Even if they make a terrible mistake (which neither did yesterday) then it's not going to do any good.

Was anyone else annoyed by this?

very very well said I completely agree with everything you've said. we want our players to do well and none of the chanting and stuff is exactly confidence boosting, get behind the players don't slate em and I've been saying this to people ages and I'm happy someone else agrees. so I agree with what you've said 100%. lets support our players on the pitch eh.?

Yep, this has pissed me off constantly the last few games. They've gone through the whole bench at times, wish I could say its just one idiot as well but it isn't. Hows about singing the names of the people actually on the pitch?

Couldn't agree more.

Unfortunately though some of our fans are useless retards without an ounce if common sense.

Although with the amount of them that ring RL, they do seem to be able to use a phone.

i find it amazing how much people slag off paul gallagher and begin the chats of 'lloyd dyer' then quickly change back to the chants of 'gallagher' after he scores another penalty

very good point they started Lloyd Dyer chants about 10 minutes in yesterday. I rate Gally and think he can do a job for us but he won't be confident enough with the fans backing.

i rate gallagher aswell, sometimes he can be very frustrating when he tries an impossible pass or is afraid to get hurt. hes not gifted with bags of pace and tricks but his technique and his ability to change the change with just one pass is quality, his free kicks and penaltys are class, when we are loosing everybody is on his back, watford springs to mind 2-0 down at ht everybody was slagging him off chanting lloyd dyer, second half he comes out and gets us back in the game all of a sudden a fans favourite, unbelievable

Its about supporting the team full stop. Even in the dark days at CITY we must all get behind the team and sing our hearts out in a posistive way at games. Every game ive been to for ages now i have ended up with a sore throat by the end but sadly not enough join in the singing these days, at least the Fosse boys are trying :scarf:

Heard some dick heads in L1 singing "willy puller, willy puller..." at Kirkland when his name was read out, people seem to get upset when they're darlings are replaced when they have been below par. Okay, he didn't have a great game but there's no point shouting that before he's even kicked the ball in the game.

couldn't agree more to be honest.

this was happening in sk4 a lot - one guy was slating kirkland the entire game. Another fan was getting well pissed off with him. I can't understand it either! Surely we should be getting behind our team, especially as. Kirkland has just come in to the team. Ok, I think dyer should start over howard but id never shout abuse at howard over it.

Should never happen lets get behind the starting 11 not the players on the bench. Shouting that players are shit is not going to give them any confidence.

Tools my Friend, absolute Tools!

It's people like this that will dampen the atmosphere for a long time at the Walkers. I got a new gun for Christmas so i might bring it next home game to eradicate the vermin problem we seem to have at present.

Failing that, a drop of poison in the bovril should sort it.

I blame the Fosse Boys and those flags.

At the Doncaster game, I heard chants of "Our support is fucking shit" and "stand up and support your team", which I can understand. A couple of minutes later, these same people went through the songbook of the players on the subs bench, which to me, isn't supporting the team (the 11 players on the pitch at the time).

Fabulous.

Like I said to the group around me, the lads at the back of the Kop obviously have more experience than an Ex-England manager and his team.

Lined up to take over after Fergie LCFC Kopites are!

If they were allowed flags poles and flares, it would make all the difference to our performance and the atmosphere in the Walkers. Just trolling for boredom's sake

Yes this does annoy me i mean come on weale would never have stopped snodgrass shot no one would and i hate it when they chant fryatts name clearly he isnt going to put on a leicester shirt again he did ok for us over the last 2 seasons but if we are to move forward then when we do get to premiership he quite clearly isn't good enough so get behind the current team

Most Leicester fans are used to mediocrity and worshiping players like Fryatt and Hume before him.

Also some of the fans think that because Weale isn't completely useless, then that means he's irreplaceable?

Unfortunately for these people, we are now in a position where if a player is good, he can still be replaced with someone better. Eventually they'll come round to reliase that when you have a keeper that has played pretty much all of his football in the top flight rather than for Yeovil, he's probably a better bet.

Actually no they wont. We're stuck with these ****tards forever.

I presume that was the middle of the kop, last time I was in there a fight broke out when a vocal fan started having a go at some fans for not standing for the 'Stand up if you Love Leicester' song accusing them of not being 'real' fans and not supporting the team. 5 minutes later he was leading the half time booing at 0-0dunno.gif

I actually hate the embarrassment I feel from being surrounded by such fooking morons at the football.

A fine selection of Leicester's finest pond-life, mixed in with a dabble of armchair-managers who can't even string a fooking sentance together, let alone a decent football team.

90 minutes of listening to these complete spastics rant on:

"Matty Fryatt du du doo doo."

"Weal-o, Weal-o, Weal-o."

"SHOOOOOT!"

**** right off, honestly. Just **** right off. You moaning pack of wankers.

Completely clueless to the fact that they're actually being completely counter-productive, damaging the already fragile confidence levels of a team that doesn't really know if it's coming or going.

Honestly, is it possible to allow sterilisation so these people don't have kids?

I hope they all die in a horrible fire.
