James. Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Never liked Spurs. Don't know why. Maybe it's because a lot of my mates support them. Maybe it's because their fans seem to think that they'll nick 4 place at the start of every season even though their average final position since inception of the Premiership is 10th. Whatever the reason I'm really enjoying seeing them bottom of the league. Long may it continue. Finally I'd like to dedicate this thread to all those lovely fans that sang that Sol Campbell song. -------------------------------------- lol lol
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 I ****ing hate Spurs and their fans. I think a lot of it stems from the final in '99. Even their chairmen always seem to be utter tossrags too - first Sugar and now Levy.
Joe. Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 I don't particularly have anything against Spurs, in fact I quite like them, but I do think it's funny to see a "big" side right down at the bottom. Ramos' days are numbered.
Corky Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Not too sorry to see them struggling. I play football with a Spurs fan, he's a good bloke and I feel a bit for him, but many of their supporters are whinging, annoying prats. They bombard the phone-ins moaning when they aren't in the top 4. Maybe change your expectations to a realistic level chaps? Levy is a creep, can't stand the club. Would love to play, and beat, them in the Championship next season.
JakeShingler Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Going down going down going down Going down going down going down Going down going down going down Going down going down going down
SussexFox Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 brilliant can't stand spurs and their fans ridiculous arrogance 'we're a massive club blah blah blah' mugs
Guest Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Hopefully we'll see Spurs in the Championship next season Fair play to Hull, they've started the season well
act smiley Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 I properly hate Spurs. Arrogant fans, arrogant owners, dubious dealings and double standards, absurd media hype, this constant "yeah we're gonna get 4th", can't stand the club, its absurdly up itself. Really hope they go down. As for Hull... blimey. Before the start of the season I was predicting them to probably end up 18th on the last day of the season, but its a rather good start for them.
Koke Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Never understood why they got so much media hype. They out-spend their closest rival massively each season and yet they fail miserably. Everton and Villa never get this much media attention. It's a London thing, I know, but it does get on my tits.
act smiley Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Precisely. Its one of the reasons I tend to feel pity for Newcastle, because everything the media mocks them for being, Spurs are ten times worse at.

They think they're better than they actually are.
Tilley Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 If Tottenham Hotspur got relegated, it would be the best thing, ever. It won't happen though, Ramos will go & whoever comes in will turn it round. But at the minute...........
Ultra Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 If Tottenham Hotspur got relegated, it would be the best thing, ever. Wouldn't quite go that far, but it would certainly be highly amusing. If it could happen to Leeds, a club of similar size, it could definitely happen to them.
Maybes Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Wouldn't quite go that far, but it would certainly be highly amusing. If it could happen to Leeds, a club of similar size, it could definitely happen to them. Just like West Ham a few years back aswell. Although they were never as big as Leeds once were.
Uncle Albert Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Used to like Spurs when they had Jol in charge. Now I am pleased they are losing. Selling Keane was the biggest mistake and bringing morons from Eastern-Europe who had good Euro's are not good replacements for a club like Spurs. Woodgate should be at a better club and Jenas is wasted at the minute.
Wycombe Fox Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 I remember looking at the 'Transfer Gossip' page on BBC's website over the summer and every day Spurs were being linked with this player and that player. It was laughable, like they didn't really know who they wanted so were going for everyone! I find it funny that they're at the bottom with a lower points total than even Derby had at the same stage last season!! Paddy Power will soon be paying out on Spurs to be relegated!
Lovejoy Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Can you imagine if we went up and Spurs and Toon came down? that'd be mayhem .
ousefox Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Spurs always have had a bad start to the season last season aswell and jol got sacked. Even that wasn't as basd as how they are doing now
Phube Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Spurs for me = But they hate Arsénal so they can't be ALL bad?!?
JakeShingler Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 If Tottenham Hotspur got relegated, it would be the best thing, ever. Better than ManU Liverpool or Chelse geting relegated?
potter3 Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Spurs for me = But they hate Arsénal so they can't be ALL bad?!? I dislike Spurs more than Arsenal
