OLD norfox Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 According to the norvegian nevspaper VG Jonathan Parr is a possible target for us http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/norsk/artikkel.php?artid=10087788
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Remember one of the Scandinavian posters saying he was a decent prospect not so long back.
lc4lcfc Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 according to wiki he is on trial with forest.i cant say i've heard much about him though
RedHux Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 He came over about half way through last season for us to have a look at him but nothing really came from it. He looks decent enough from the clips I've seen and the few Norwegian Forest fans rate him as a decent prospect.

Fjällräven Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Parr plays for my local team, Aalesund, so i basically watch him in action week in and out. He's probably the second best left back in the country right now, after Roma's John Arne Riise, and due to the seemingly dropping quality of the latter, it might not be that long before he is a number one choice for Norway. Riise has a high standing here though, so possibly not until after the 2014 World Cup. (We probably won't get to Brazil though.) His stand out qualities are pace, stamina and a killer crossing left foot. He's always eager to go forward, and mostly moves smart when he does so, but he sometimes has trouble positioning when defending. Parr's contract expires in December, so he shouldn't be too expensive. I'm guessing Aalesund would let him go for somewhere around £ 200.000-300.000 in August, depending on who would want to sign him. Also a devote christian, so fans probably don't have to worry about him spending his spare time getting hammered
