  1. Ruud has a good coaching background, a clear idea of how he wants to play and is respected worldwide. I think he'd do alright in the right environment. We couldn't be further from the right environment. For any manager.
  2. I know it's a lazy comparison to make but Kompany and Martin both failed because neither showed any pragmatism. Enzo showed signs of the same problem, last spring. We'd be right where we are now.
  3. And the fact he seemed to be running in slow motion yet still put three stewards on their arse
  4. Another 18 months of this walking mistake.
  5. https://metro.co.uk/2024/12/30/james-maddison-bites-back-appearing-world-darts-championship-hours-spurs-draw-22266681/ Darts Luke Thomas Football In that order. (Obviously I'm joking. Always find it weird when footballers get criticised for having a life outside football).
  6. It's not age. xG will have it's uses as an easy reference point for scouts, coaches and analysts. For the rest of us, it's irrelevant and boring. Just something people can use to make themselves sound more knowledgeable than they actually are.
  7. https://www.forestforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/the-demise-of-ruud-van-nistelrooij’s-leicester-city.45088/page-83 Genuinely confused. I thought they didn't care about us?
  8. We need to get him signed up ASAP or we'll lose him on a free
  9. No. It's....elsewhere.
  10. The dog got an extremely phallic pink dog toy. Almost had a heart attack, opening it in front of the kids.
  11. Worse thing about it is, there's absolutely no professional pride there. He should have a point to prove. He should be sharp. He should be trying to change people's opinion of him. There's none of that. He's just given up.
  12. First half performance against Wolves
  13. Don't waste your time making something that's aesthetically pleasing. The club have already done their usual trick of taking a decent idea and getting someone off Fiverr to execute it horribly.
  14. Maybe they were fully behind the manager but wanted Ryan Manning gone?
  15. "I'll give you 45 mins, just before January. A chance to put yourself in the shop window..."
  16. Imagine how much overtime he was smashing in.
  17. Yeah, there must be an element of doubt, otherwise they would make a point of describing his condition as stable. Hope he pulls through.
  18. Exactly. They're not going to tell the club they are in the deep stuff and are unlikely to be able to see out the contract. Despite these assurances, if it does all implode the club will probably find out minutes before we do.
  19. The demand is there and so is the money. It must just be another case of the unions having the train companies by the bollocks.
  20. Better than the sentient quiche we had managing us before.
  21. Big Dunc would have just got into the player's wives.
  22. In a grim sort of way, I'm looking forward to the Championship
  23. Anecdotally, I knew someone who was given the, 'weeks, not months' verdict in 2016. He finally passed at the end of 2020. If this bill had been in place, he might have gone down the assisted dying route a few months in, when the cancer was really taking It's toll.
  24. I feel like I can smell the Aventus through the screen.
