  1. Watford fans are very idiot
  2. OK, Roman Godess riding a mecha horse down the river. That would have been a bit cool if the horse's galloping speed matched the speed of the little boat thing
  3. That's going in the hall of shame with that gold 14/15 shirt, the weird grey/yellow away kit from 13/14 and that beige and maroon shite from the other year. Absolutely grim
  4. This is the worst shout in this thread. Even worse than the guy who suggested Sir Alex Ferguson does it via Skype.
  5. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5631859/2024/07/12/spain-finals-dominance-euro-2024/ Surely this insane run has to come to an end at some point...right?
  6. If we're in the clear for 23/24 and our punishment just pertains to 22/23 as has been speculated, surely we've got some strong mitigation to avoid punishment. We sold an important player for £70m, replaced him for £15m. Let go of one of our most important players ever and didn't replace him because we couldn't afford the wages. Also, after an unprecedented period of success for the club where every player and agent worked hard to take the club for everything they had, we were still adjusting to a budget that doesn't include European football money. This isn't an overnight process but no one can look at our dealings and say we had our head in the sand. We were facing it head on. This careful (some say negligent) lack of investment meant we got relegated, had valuable players leave on a free and others sold for less than their market value. Any further punishment would just be egregious.
  7. But if we did it, it would be a step too far. The league would have to clamp down on things like this....if we did it.
  8. I know what you mean. The exception is Barcelona's shirt. Even after all these years, it still feels weird to see a sponsor on their shirt.
  9. Even if Trestellar formed a football club, they still wouldn't take him off our hands. He's here until next summer (barring a new contract; which I wouldn't put past the club).
  10. Coming to a 'Top Ten Worst Barcelona Signings of All Time' listicle near you.
  11. Or it could be the catalyst to foster some team spirit in rhe face of adversity similar to the effect Deeney Day had, fingers crossed.
  12. Imagine having to explain why you signed off a deal to pay this bum £80000/week for two years.
  13. Especially as the 'S' in PSR stands for 'sustainability'. Surely there's nothing more sustainable than bringing through academy players to play in the first team.
  14. This would make sense. Especially as the PSR deadline is the 30th June. Signing him before that (on paper) would be just shooting ourselves in the foot.
  15. I thought he was retiring but here he is rocking up at Fenerbahce
  16. I like Maresca but I won't miss him. Especially if we get a more pragmatic manager in. Pochettino to Enzo is a massive downgrade though.
  17. All that and you haven't even got to their racist, elitist fans
  18. Wouldn't want a permanent change but a retro-style away with the 1983-1992 badge would be a nice change.
  19. Sorry to be a bit rude but you might be a bit Denise.
  20. "This is me clapping along and pretending to enjoy this peasant past time. Aren't I relatable?"
  21. Aston Villa are over the line. Wish we did the same in 2020 and 2021.
  22. I thought he was a Spurs fan because he was being punished for something terrible he did in a past life.
  23. The [self-appointed] biggest club with the [self-appointed] best fans strikes again.
  24. Rock, paper, scissors...
