  1. Heard earned 1-0 win away from home after losing 3 on the spin. Thought I'd be delighted but still feel totally underwhelmed...
  2. ball popping as we attack seems quite apt
  3. we're not even trying
  4. we were playing much better than this
  5. we lack lust, we're so lacklustre
  6. I love to president bro!
  7. Enzo if you're reading this forum I was joking
  8. These look crap, absolutely confident we can casually see the game out 1-0
  9. Recently discovered the Duke. Beautiful pub.
  10. It still takes me a while to remember what his name actually is, which obviously I blame on Foxestalk
  11. Ah yes the Barley Mow is nice. My 'local' is the Lord John Russell. Probably won't win any awards but seems to be independent and has a good atmosphere - nice mix of old regulars, tourists, students and intellectuals (and me ). The Boot is a bit of an old school pub, must be independent as it looks like there's been no refurbishment in 20 years. Both of those are a bit further away in Bloomsbury though. There are loads between Regent's Park and Tottenham Court Road station but I don't really know them.
  12. Miss that team. Great times in my personal life and as a Leicester fan obviously it was brilliant
  13. Started like 30 games that season, and much of the first half of the Prem season.
  14. I like Marylebone. Spend a lot of time in Fitzrovia and Bloomsbury just to the east. Naroon is a great Iranian restaurant - I think there's one in Fitzrovia and Marylebone. Which pub?
  15. True, he seemed to score harder chances more than easier ones. Thinking especially of his goal against Derby in 2012.
  16. Loved Nugent but didn't think he was always the greatest finisher.
  17. see the post above yours
  18. never experienced a vibe shift on here like the one we've had over the last 10 days.
  19. I was going to post something similar. We're one of only a handful of clubs in England that have won either the league or cup in the last quarter century, and we won both pretty recently. Certainly we bottled top 4 in 2020. 2021 wasn't quite the same level of collapse. Fans will call us bottle jobs because these days English football fans are on the whole ****ing idiots. Let them. We can just respond with the two trophy wins.
  20. I don't see how what is being discussed on a forum impacts what happens on the pitch in any way
  21. Oxford is a nice away day
  22. I think at the time there was a perception that the team were quite soft both physically and mentally which was seen as a reflection of Puel's management style.
