  1. I really hope he comes in and does well for us. A lot of negativity and underwhelmed responses and I get it, but I think he could be what we need for our siege mentality next season. It would be funny to see how FOrest fans respond if he ends up doing well and finishing above Forest as well.
  2. Some of these people can't seem to be able to separate being a passionate Leicester fan and supporting the clubs decisions no matter what. They're actively supporting (in my opinion) an absolutely ridiculous and unwarranted rise in ticket prices, out of 'love' for their club, but they are failing to recognise how much this will negatively impact fellow supporters who cannot afford the increased costs. I know lots of people who haven't been able to go over the last couple of years, I've been a lot less myself the last 2 seasons and this years prices will only prolong that. Will these same people still be so supportive in 5/10 years when we've hardly got a fanbase as all the kids are into other teams, different sports or just have no association whatsoever with their local team?
  3. I was really keen on Potter and thought he'd do well here. However, if he is stalling for whatever reason it means there must be an element of doubt in his head. If that's the case we can't give him the job as even if he tried, subconsciously his head & heart would never really be 100% in it.
  4. I'm absolutely gutted seeing those prices. I've always been one that didn't mind spending a little bit more to go to games as it was a day out with me and the boy, however looking at these prices I am not sure if I'll be taking him this season. It's been tough the last year and a bit to get down with pressures on spending and less disposable income but I've managed a few here and there. Looking at those prices, plus the memberships on top of it all, I'm not sure if I can justify it. In fact I know I can't justify it. Feel at a loss with the club yet again and also really sad my little boy won't get the same experiences I had and won't have that same bond and passion for the club as financially, it now feels like a step above where we are in the world.

    Houses

Agree with the conveyancer thing, in my experience it's whoever shouts loudest that gets sorted quicker. Chase everything and ask for regular updates, call them if you don't get answers within 24 hours and just generally keep on top of them. THose that don't chase they will just deal with it whenever but if you nicely 'pester' them you can easily save a couple of weeks over the whole process.

  9. I'd honestly scarp the plans now and make new ones, by the time we get this done 40K will already not be enough.
  10. Getting a lot of love but can't get my head around it myself. Looks like a pair of nasty curtains.
  11. This story just made me laugh - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3ggww342w8o How does this happen? They've gone all the way through the airport, o the gate and got on the wrong plane and still didn't know until they landed. About spat my coffee out when I read "When I woke up, it didn't look like Spain out the window"
  12. As someone who doesn't really bet, can you explain what this could suggest (or if it means anything at all)? Is it suggesting that more people have backed Potter NOT to get the job?
  13. Might be worth it tbh, even if it only saves 15/20 minutes it will save some stress. Yeah let me know, my flight's also at 8am - was planning on rocking up at 5.30/6am but I'm thinking if it's still like this we'll be aiming to get in the queue for 5am as one guy said it took about 1hr 40 to get through.
  14. Oh dear. The videos/photos on twitter don't look great. I don't fly out until the summer so I'm hoping they'll have got their act together by then as the kids will be a nightmare. Good luck next week!
  15. Anyone flown out of Birmingham recently? Saw a few videos on Twitter/X of queues outside and it taking people ages to get through to departures. Anyone know how long this will be going on for?
  16. He's just been spotted at the KP
  17. I can second the Shires, had a good one in there last year. Also the Golden Fleece in South Croxton. Not been in there for a couple of years but they used to do a great carvery.
  18. I know it's been mentioned loads already but I cannot stand the massive Adidas logo. It is way too big. Annoying that it will be on ours as well, it should be half of the size as it just dominates the front.
  19. Saw Ayoze Perez bagged and assisted one last night for Spain. Never saw him getting close to the national team when he was with us so fair play.
  20. If it is Cooper I think as a fan base we need to get behind him (same counts for whoever it is tbh) and we need to build a kind of siege mentality next season. Starting with restrictions and a points deduction, it is going to be a tough season. If we're at the manager before he's even walked in the door we've got no chance.
  21. I can't work out if that's a joke or if you're being serious.

    Jordan James

    He's Welsh. (He's Finnish. He's not finished he's only 28!)
  23. Yes! It's almost like he's perfect for Sky Sports News though, sometimes they have to fill hours with the same old stories every day and he must buy them at least a couple of hours a day with the fact it takes him about 3 times longer than a normal person to say a simple sentence.
