  1. Have you watched Foden this season? If GS doesn't play Foden and Bellingham central with Rice behind, then he needs sacking. Rice has done well for Arsenal there this season but not to the same level plus he has always done well for England in behind. Simple.
  2. Interesting the BBC has more or less confirmed 11 players so far GK's Trafford and Henderson, then Guehi, Cowill, Branthwaite, Quansah, Wharton, Eze, Bowen, Jones and Toney. That's 11 our of an apparent initial 30 which leaves about 19 spaces left. I feel a big name is going to miss out, I'm guessing Rashford and/or Maddison.
  3. I wouldn't be against Eze coming in for Rashford at all but I think GS will want someone that can play more than one position and he's one that can do that. Shaw I'm not happy with either but when fit he is our best LB, just hasn't played enough this season but will be good cover for BC. Maddison I think should be in, he's had a poor end to the season but I think he'd raise his game for England.
  4. MY final 26 is; GK's Pickford, Ramsdale, Johnstone DEF Walker, TAA, Trippier, Stones, Maguire, Colwill, Guehi, Branthwaite, Chilwell, Shaw MID Rice, Henderson, Bellingham, Gallagher, Maddison, Palmer, Foden, Gordon, Saka, Bowen ATT Kane, Watkins, Rashford My feeling is with GS he'll want 5 CB's, at least 2 RB/LB's and then Trippier who can do both. I think he'll want 2 for every position in midfield and then Rashford can play CF or LW as cover. Losing out for me is Grealish, Eze, Toney then maybe Mitchell and Gomez in defence.
  5. Completely agree but it's almost like wasted energy willing for GS to play like that, he doesn't dare do anything unorthodox or anything that could be seen as adventurous. Will be right behind England this tournament - with the level of players we have we should be going in with every confidence of winning or making the final but with GS you just feel like he doesn't have it in him to go for it. I hope I'm proved wrong.
  6. There's definitely a good little player in there, still young so I imagine he'll get better. What are the chances he gets signed by an Italian club next season and he absolutely rips it up
  7. Left back is the one position that's troubling me. I think Chilwell is a dead cert. Shaw's only played like 10 - 15 games this whole season and I would be worried about taking him. I know GS has played Trippier there before but just feels like it's our weak spot in the swquad.
  8. I might be wrong but I'm sure the club said (at the time) that they would do one in the future for Kingy as they couldn't at the time when he left during Covid.
  9. Actually mad that we can't have something like this in the UK, closest thing is when Amazon has a round of games and sometimes have a few on simultaneously
  10. Wouldn't surprise me if they try and get Rosenior in. Got close with Hull and I think if he hadn't been sacked he would have got play-offs next season at least.
  11. The way they set up and played in the first leg at home I think it's probably justified. Seemed to be so negative and had no urgency to get forward or to try and take the game to Leeds. Knowing that the away leg at Elland Road was going to be difficult they had to try and nick something at home but he seemed happy to just avoid defeat.
  12. Wow that sounds like my dream When I read your post first I had visions of someone breaking in to your garden and dumping a koi in there which sounded mad.
  13. I had to check and found the story, I think it was actually about 3/4 weeks after it was installed, so unlucky (https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/woman-injured-after-double-decker-5576068)
  14. I'm confused. Did you not know it was there? Has someone dumped a koi in your pond?
  15. I remember one finally got put in on Narborough road and actually planted, then literally 2/3 days later a bus or a lorry (I can't remember) drove straight into it and knocked it over and it was never replaced.
  16. Yeah but we shouldn't have been in League One or the Championship so we shouldn't have been celebrating those trophies.
  17. Give it a couple of weeks and the hype train will be well back on track. Tournament fever always hits in as soon as the club season is over.
  18. I doubt anyone is going to pay anywhere near that, plus he's out of contract as well so he's more likely to go to whoever offers the better wages at this point I suspect. I can't see why Leicester would take the option for another year unless we know we can sell him, wouldn't be worth wasting his career for that to happen, us not be able to shift him and then he has another year like this year.
  19. Aren't you the same guy that tars all of the traveller community because you had a bad experience once? I'm sure you also referred to Irish people in a derogatory way too. Granted you had a bad experience however I'd read your post above here and maybe think on that as well.
  20. Yeah I got the 87 shirt from the club shop, I think it was around 2019 or 2020 though. It is definitely my favourite shirt of our retro ones, the collar and sleeve cuffs are dead smart with the red trim as well.
  21. Narcissists that think everyone wants to hear about their lives and their goings on.
  22. How long do you think it will be before Western Park itself starts to get cannibalised? I can see the arguments now, lots of alternative green space nearby on Braunstone Park, cost of managing/maintaining lots of open space. It's already started with the housing planning permission on one side so I don't think it will be too long before another chunk goes on the Park View/New Parks Way side.
  23. I think you're pushing against an open door with this one. The only ones that really benefit are the club and the manufacturer who get a nice injection of cash each year from new kit sales. Would be nice if our club put a marker in the sand and said no, this is the kit we'll be wearing for 2 years no matter what. I think they'd more than likely sell a lot more as people would see it as a bit of an investment for the next couple of seasons and you could get your kid/kids one without fear they'll be asking for a new one 10 months later or whatever it is.
