  1. Is that not just for teams that will be in the EFL next season though?
  2. Interesting though, a Villa fan at work said he thinks it's been inflated. One of their owners, Nassef Sawiris, also owns a 7% stake in Adidas so you can see why people might thinks it's a little dodgy. Obviously it's nothing on the likes of Chelsea and Man City though.
  3. Balague is one of the biggest brown nosers I've ever seen. He will literally just write whatever just to try and fluff his mate Enzo - will be glad to see the back of this a**ehole.
  4. A silly one that probably shouldn't annoy me but it does is the use of 'BREAKING NEWS' for the most mundane or pointless news stories. Obviously with everything going on I'm keeping an eye on the likes of Sky Sports News for announcements and up pops 'BREAKING' Aston Villa unveil updated badge! WTF - the term Breaking News used to be reserved for unexpected or important stories, now it just seems to be used for anything.
  5. All you can say is thank you to the guy for coming in after a tough couple of years with Rodgers and galvanising the team/players and getting us straight back up. However, personally with how things have gone the last couple of weeks and his seemingly eagerness to go to London and speak to Chelsea I can say I'm glad he's going. A little bit of arrogance is fine however this guy has had moments where he's acted a little bit above his station. A few thinly veiled threats of leaving if fans don't like his style of play, stubbornness that it was his way or the high way which effectively made the end of the season a lot closer than it should have been, no plan b in some games we should have put to bed. I think fair enough for last season it was nice to enjoy being a fan again for a while but if you're not fully onside, see you later. I can see it going really really well next season at Chelsea or being a complete disaster, a big part of me hopes it's the latter.
  6. Who said I believed it? I've put on here before I will be very surprised if it's more than 6 and that it couldn't be 10 or more as that's what you get for administration. I was purely stating that I don't know why or where they pull these ridiculous numbers from and why they don't get called out on it.
  7. The airport that's in Leicestershire, somehow has a Derby postcode but they call it EMA Nottingham
  8. Jeff Stelling this morning on TalkSport said we're expecting a points deduction of somewhere between 6 and 15 points. Where do they keep pulling these numbers from?
  9. Just looked and I think it was the 05/06 JJB/Alliance & Leicester shirt
  10. I like it, like the inclusion of yellow on the home shirt, when was the last time we had that?
  11. I personally think given the choice McKenna goes to United as he knows the club and tbh it's the biggest club job in England. I think that leaves the door open at Chelsea however like others have said, there are so many big name managers available this summer I'd be very surprised if Maresca is offered that job. I think he'll still be here come game 1.
  12. I agree they were poor in the playoffs - however, did you ever look at that team and the players they had in their squad? Realistically they shouldn't have been anywhere near the playoffs - he did a brilliant job getting them there with that squad.
  13. Good idea that, emphasise the walk through but work it in to the design so it gets lots of foot traffic going through and around all the stalls.
  14. Definitely, the game that year against the Netherlands when he was MoM I thought he was in for sure, looked so comfortable.
  15. An Argentinian managing England? No chance. He'd never be able to return to his home country if he took that job.
  16. I just had to Google it as I didn't know. How on earth does he keep getting great jobs?
  17. Just looking at the confirmed Portugal squad, haven't really been mentioned but they've got to be one of the favourites for it surely? What a team.
  18. I actually think we did ok, although I still think Marc Albrighton should have got to a squad during 2015/16. Just looked it up and we've had the following players get a cap since that season; James Justin (2022), 1 Cap Harvey Barnes (2020), 1 Cap James Maddison (2019-2023), 3 Caps Ben Chilwell (2018-2019), 11 Caps Harry Maguire (2017-2019), 20 Caps Danny Drinkwater (2016), 3 Caps Jamie Vardy (2015-2018), 26 Caps Then I'm sure Demarai Gray got tothe bench the game that was at the KP. Not too bad really.
  19. I think he's quite underrated actually. Chelsea have played much better second half of the season and it's coincided with his good form. Don't think he's a starter but he could come in for Bellingham or Foden and play alongside Rice a little further back.
  20. Sky Sports News are saying that GS will announce a 33-man initial squad so I would imagine pretty much everyone not already mentioned as not being in will be in unless he has another surprise or 2 up his sleeve.
  21. True, not one I had down to go and think there's others in the LW spot that have had better seasons e.g. Gordon
  22. BBC saying Grealish is in
  23. Because he doesn't play on the left for Man City. Him and Bellingham have basically played similar positions and both excelled this season so for me they both play CAM in behind Kane, with Rice at CDM. For me I'd sacrifice Palmer not playing in the middle and stick him on the left, Saka on the right.
