This is mental. I suppose at the end of the day the club has saw it as 'the highest bidder gets to put their logo on our shirt', no questions asked because in reality it seems like it's all a massive scam and a hoax of a company. If the club were bothered and did even the slightest bit of research they would have found this out the day their bid was submitted.

Hope I've not derailed the thread BUT I will say, I do still watch the Hootenanny every year and I still enjoy it despite that. Getting slowly boozed in, at home with the family and listening to some good 'live' tunes is always a highlight of my NYE.

I genuinely can only apologise for this. A few people made me feel silly that I didn't know it was recorded so I assumed I was the only one!

Used to love Jools Holland until I found out it was pre-recorded. Ruined it for me for some reason

Got excited, general sale for West Ham, a week night game I can go to - brilliant. 2 minutes later.....£105 for me and my mate to go!. wtf - no chance. Hate football at the minute.

You wont regret it, Better Call Saul is up there on my list. It gets better and better by season.

Feels like one company tried it, got away with it so now all of the phone/broadband providers do the same. The contract price should be the contract price and take into account potential inflation for the 12 or 24 months it will last for - that's how it always used to be.

It's weird. My dog was like this for 5 or 6 years, not bothered in the slightest. The last 2 years though they've been petrified. Can't work out what's changed.

World Mental Health Day flyer - Union FS

How many more own goals can this club score? I genuinely think it is so easy to actually work with fan groups that it's actually harder work for the club to be the way they are being. I know you don't want to further damage the relationship with the club but can you name who it is that doesn't like the UFS? Are they very high up? At this point it feels like their own pig-headedness is turning a lot of fans against their own club, or at the very least increasing the negative feeling there is around the club at the moment. -
Will The Board Ever Admit They Might Be Wrong?
lcfc278 replied to Parafox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The fact that no one has lost their job and there's been next to no changes at board level after the amount of f**k ups we've had over the last 3/4 years is astounding. I'm not expecting them to publicly 'say they're sorry' but the fact Top has just stuck with the same people regardless feels almost negligible. In particular it feels like Jon Rudkin, aka Smithers, has got a job for life to be honest. -
Get rid now and get Corberan in before someone else snaps him out.

Might be more of a placebo effect tbh but I also take a multivitamin & mineral supplement everyday. Also have one of those water bottles with the time of day printed on to ensure I do the usual 2L.

I've recently become a little bit addicted to watching this channel on YouTube where users can submit their dashcam footage (https://www.youtube.com/@ExposedUKDashCams) There is admittedly a lot of terrible drivers and bad road behaviour out there as they seem to be able to post a compilation video every 3 or 4 days. The last few weeks since watching I've tried to drive as if I could end up on one of these videos one day and I'll admit it's made me a lot calmer and more patient on the roads.

Well there's no need for that, I was just explaining what was grinding my gears

This post could just be generalised to 'LinkedIn' as a whole but why does it feel like everyone is just a narcissist nowadays? Why do some people think that they are so important that other people will want to know about every aspect of their lives? I've just been scrolling and some guy has posted a video all about how he enters his office each day. He's literally positioned a camera in all four corners of this room so he can show people what he does in the first minute of going into the office for work each day e.g. where he puts his bag, where he puts his phone, how he sits in his chair and the text in the post is a load of waffle about something completely irrelevant to the video. Needless to say the person in my network who 'liked' this post and made it appear on my timeline, has now been unfollowed. (ps. just to pre-empt responses, I'd love to just not go on LinkedIn to avoid these plebs but I have to use it for work)

Yeah completely agree. The only thing nearby is the Morningside arena (is it still called that?) and I can't imagine many of the people that lived local to it were pub goers either, and if they were, you'd walk that extra distance to be in town where there's far more options. Suppose it was inevitable.

Saw the Bridle Lane Tavern is closing down permanently. Only went in there a couple of times, wasn't the tidiest of places but had a couple of good pints in there.

I think this is one of the benefits of the current nations league format - the likes of SM, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Moldova etc. will play each other more often and, you'd hope, get a little bit more competitive and taste the odd victory here and there.

Don't Genk play in blue as well?

Will these results be passed on to the club at all? And if so, who to? It's these kind of results that certain people at the top should be seeing. I know there's a few fan engagement / supporter liaison people there now but will they have the guts to communicate these results to the people that should be seeing it? Or is the club too far gone with the whole culture of not allowing Top to hear anything remotely negative?

If this comes in football is dead. It is no longer the working man's sport anyway but this would be the final nail in the coffin.

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

I don't think you can say that anymore mate, actually maybe not for the last 20 years or so -
Some chump on here said we'd see him in a different light by today. Still waiting to see.
