  1. Wow that sounds like my dream When I read your post first I had visions of someone breaking in to your garden and dumping a koi in there which sounded mad.
  2. I had to check and found the story, I think it was actually about 3/4 weeks after it was installed, so unlucky (https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/woman-injured-after-double-decker-5576068)
  3. I'm confused. Did you not know it was there? Has someone dumped a koi in your pond?
  4. I remember one finally got put in on Narborough road and actually planted, then literally 2/3 days later a bus or a lorry (I can't remember) drove straight into it and knocked it over and it was never replaced.
  5. Yeah but we shouldn't have been in League One or the Championship so we shouldn't have been celebrating those trophies.
  6. Give it a couple of weeks and the hype train will be well back on track. Tournament fever always hits in as soon as the club season is over.
  7. I doubt anyone is going to pay anywhere near that, plus he's out of contract as well so he's more likely to go to whoever offers the better wages at this point I suspect. I can't see why Leicester would take the option for another year unless we know we can sell him, wouldn't be worth wasting his career for that to happen, us not be able to shift him and then he has another year like this year.
  8. Aren't you the same guy that tars all of the traveller community because you had a bad experience once? I'm sure you also referred to Irish people in a derogatory way too. Granted you had a bad experience however I'd read your post above here and maybe think on that as well.
  9. Yeah I got the 87 shirt from the club shop, I think it was around 2019 or 2020 though. It is definitely my favourite shirt of our retro ones, the collar and sleeve cuffs are dead smart with the red trim as well.
  10. Narcissists that think everyone wants to hear about their lives and their goings on.
  11. How long do you think it will be before Western Park itself starts to get cannibalised? I can see the arguments now, lots of alternative green space nearby on Braunstone Park, cost of managing/maintaining lots of open space. It's already started with the housing planning permission on one side so I don't think it will be too long before another chunk goes on the Park View/New Parks Way side.
  12. I think you're pushing against an open door with this one. The only ones that really benefit are the club and the manufacturer who get a nice injection of cash each year from new kit sales. Would be nice if our club put a marker in the sand and said no, this is the kit we'll be wearing for 2 years no matter what. I think they'd more than likely sell a lot more as people would see it as a bit of an investment for the next couple of seasons and you could get your kid/kids one without fear they'll be asking for a new one 10 months later or whatever it is.
  13. He spent all night on that.
  14. I'll be very surprised if he is a regular starter wherever he goes. Whenever he got a proper run in our team (granted it was few and far between) it always ended in disappointment. Had a chance this season to easily become the best striker in this league but never seemed bothered. Was really excited when we got him but not too fussed he's going on a free now. I think overall and in particular his FA cup record, I think we got decent value for our money over the 7 years.
  15. Agreed! It's almost like TV companies are scared no one will watch a travel program unless they have a celeb go there.
  16. I think with the potential restrictions on spending and possible points deduction, it's got to be survival. If we can do that and also bring a couple of the youngsters through to the main squad (I'm thinking Braybrooke, Alves and Nelson initially) I'll be happy. If we have still got Maresca and play our game, maybe bring in one or two of his chosen signings, there's a good chance we could do well next season but it's a bit of an unknown at this point.
  17. Too high. I will be surprised if we get more than 6
  18. There is not a chance that it would be anywhere near 12 points. Don't you get just 10 for going to to administration?
  19. Thanks for explaining that for me I had no idea!!! I'm aware of the in's and out's of sponsorship and our clubs current position, however I have expressed my opinion that FBS should not be anywhere near the front of our shirts again for the above reasons.
  20. Whatever genius at the club thought this was a good idea needs their head checking. Screams tinpot plastering that on the kits.
  21. Where do you want me to start? It's a crap looking sponsor to start with, basically a gambling company as I'm sure they had a line somewhere on their site saying 75% of people end up losing their money. Thirdly, they bailed on us as soon as we got relegated so no thanks.
  22. IF the club have FBS back on the shirts it's a joke
  23. I don't think any players came out of last season with any gloss - I'll be disappointed if anyone boo's Maddison and Tielemans as they're both a part of the FA Cup win which was magical and enough for me to respect them as former players, not boo them just because they no longer play for us. Same goes for Castagne and Barnes and any of the current crop who are leaving on frees this summer, should they come up against us next year.
  24. 15th in the all-time PL goalscoring charts, PL record for most consecutive games/goals, PL and FA Cup winner with Leicester. I think we'd probably have paid whatever that number is multiple times over to earn that kind of success
