Can't wait to get into that stadium bowl tonight and let the light show strike fear into those Saints, then we can all sing 'let's all have a disco'
-
Ah yeah that makes more sense.
-
What do you mean £100 a game? Is it not just a one-off £25 charge per card?
-
You're a barrel of laughs! We've been through much worse times in the past, whatever the next 2/3 seasons brings I don't think it will phase us as fans.
-
At the end of the day, professional football in England means all 92 clubs in the EFL and PL, however, the TV money and the power that brings means the PL have a lot of muscle. Despite that, the purpose of the FA is to represent and protect the wellbeing of the sport, from the top to the bottom. No decision should have been made on changes to this competition without a say from all of those clubs who particiipate in it, at the very least, the 92 professional clubs. Makes me sick that the PL thinks it can just dictate the future of the sport in our country.
-
I think we're going to have to score more goals than West Brom if we want to win it. Otherwise you're spot on, it will either be a draw or loss.
-
Yes, please do!
-
Which ones? I want to watch all the championship highlights on the TV à la Match of the Day for the PL. You'd think for the amount of fans the 72 clubs in the EFL have they'd be able to make a decent highlights show.
-
I don't know about anyone else but another key motivator for me to want us to be promoted is so I don't have to sit through the utter dross that is the EFL highlights show. Everything about it feels crap and that bloody saxophone solo at the ad breaks goes through me like a hot knife through butter.

Yeah agreed. I hoped after we lost to Millwall and then Ipswich and Leeds didn't capitalise, that it might give the lads a kick up the backside. Then losing again to Plymouth and somehow still not being fully punished by Ipswich and Leeds, it has finally now go to be the point where they pull their fingers out - we've been gifted a chance where it's still in our hands so we need to take it or otherwise we've got no one to blame but ourselves if we don't go up.
-
I've had butterflies in my stomach since the weekend about this one - feels like this game is massive.
-
You could say the same for all 4 teams really, Leeds and Leicester would have expected to go up automatically prior to 3/4 weeks ago so a lot more pressure on us to do it now but we have to try and have the same mentality. Nothing to lose now, try and attack from the off in the next 4 games and keep it in our own hands.

Are there many tickets left for sale for this or the Southampton game? It's been 2 weeks since the WBA game reached Fox members guests and a month since the same for the Southampton game - absolutely no sign of general sales or sale to booking history so I'm wondering are there next to no tickets left or is the club just being a bunch of c***s? No one is going to buy a membership now so let some people get to the last games they have a chance to this season.
-
Not every single member goes to every single home game. However, out of all of the members you can guarantee they will all most likely want to go to this last home game of the season / potential promotion celebration. I don't know how people can't get their head around it. You've been able to get your seat(s) most or all of the season which is great but when every member suddenly wants to go people are just going to sit wherever they can as demand is 10x higher than an average home game in the season.
-
How do you know they haven't been going all season? How would they have gotten tickets without the points they would get from going to games?
-
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Is this basically just Fifa/Uefa's way of creating their own super league without openly admitting it. The gap between our big 6 and the top clubs in Europe is now only going to get bigger and bigger - how dare any other smaller team try and go for it and invest in their squad if they don't have a big enough ground or sell enough merchandise to generate enough revenue to do so. -
Like someone said above it got down to Members with 15+ points. However, it would definitely be interesting if the club was transparent with how many tickets they do keep back for hospitality, family and friends of players, staff and the obligatory ticket office staff and their whole families. I used to like it on the site where you could see actual numbers of tickets available then you could see when it first went on sale how many were actually available for sale.
-
If you see anyone selling one on let me know
-
Exactly. There's a core number of members who don't go to every game but spread over a season the number who attend will average out over each game. For a game like this that pretty much all of the members want to go to there will be higher demand simple as that.
-
I'm not sure how everyone has jumped on that there will be loads of tourists and glory fans because it's sold out higher up the priority list. You literally have to have more points to have bought them so far, and having more points usually means you've been to more games, so in reality surely that means they've actually been bought by people that do frequently go to games, no? Also, the last home game of the season always sells out early doors, more so when there's potentially a trophy lift or promotion to celebrate.
-
You're argument was 23 other teams only have 14/15 senior/main players which is rubbish. My point was our squad is great, but that there weren't enough options in the middle or on the wing - that means just Praet and Hamza from your list above plus Albrighton, McAteer and Marcal. Hardly the most coveted players in the league.
-
Yes, otherwise they would not have sold. I remember same thing happened in 2013/14 - let's hope it's a repeat.
-
Could someone tweet a link to Jordan Blackwell or something? Might prompt them to do a write up in the Mercury or something like that generate some further interest - the fact it's fan funded and also smashed it's target you'd think might be a nice story for them to write up. Although saying that it is the Leicester Mercury.
-
Why did he get dropped after being in team of the week the week before?
-
Hmm, I dunno, I don't think any of those options would work in the system he wants to play. Wilf can't pass more than 10 yards he wouldn't be able to do 10% of what Winks does in our system. Also, I think the other 23 managers only having 14 or 15 senior players thing is a load of tripe. There's at least 10-12 teams in this league with a big enough squad to challenge for the play-offs and promotion, a lot of clubs bigger than us as well so I don't buy in to that narrative that we're 'absolutely too massive for this league' at all.
