Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Yep, our generation's comedy heroes are leaving, bit by bit. -
Check out the Guster version. I like it a lot:

Best one-move player this club has ever seen. His dribbling and assist against Leeds in the Premier League will go down in LCFC folklore. Legend for getting to 111 matches and the outstanding three assists in the process. -

Seeing that Daka has been terrorizing defenses in England ever since he joined, makes no difference to me. Both organizations are loaded. -

There's still time for Daka to get to know beautiful Saudi Arabia. Two days, a few hours... and counting... -

Best thing midfielder since sliced bread! So sad to see such a massive talent leave the club. Hope we got £££ for him. -
That – and he'd actually have to play some football to start with.

Helped the team keep a clean sheet on Saturdy – against one of the worst attacking sides in Ligue 1. More of the same, and he'll stay down there. -
I heard somebody from the industry say the two movies were meant to be one. That'd be the better artistic choice, imo. It appears as if they wanted to profit more financially and exploit the series' standing with two separate films.

That was back when we had a scouting system worth its name. Getting bargains or unknown players in, then forming them to a unit. A few years prior, Vary had joined, Morgan with him, Kasper before. Man, those were the days. Can't believe how easily we threw it all away in just a few years. Back to Mahrez, I wonder whether him or any other former, still active players from the glory days would be willing to come back, if only for one single season. We could use some of that winning spirit – and depth in squad. A few "oldies" to tutor the youngens.

Shame we can't tar and feather the ones responsible for our downfall and hound them out of the city forever.

Good riddance. Guy‘s a fraud. How he manages to secure jobs is beyond me. Just go back to his appointment last July. Top fell for the ruse. To this day, I don‘t know what manager he was describing. It wasn‘t Cifuentes. That we know now. Now for a manager that can actually communicate, can identify with this club on a deeper level – and one who has a game plan. The clean sheets start now.

North by Northwest. Just perfect. And Eva Marie Saint looks absolutely gorgeous. Going on 102 this year!

As I've stated before, Cifuentes' job will only be in jeopardy should we get near the bottom three or land in the relegation places. Somehow, Top thought "we're leaking goals left, right and center, so let's go for a manager who is not known for putting emphasis on defending". We've got the third-worst defensive record in the league right now. At what point does a so-called professional manager start and question our back four and start shifting around, making keeping a clean sheet – you know, something we haven't done in 22 league matches – the top priority? A strong back four or even a back five (make it 5-3-2 or 5-4-1, for all I care) and a reliable keeper (one that can command his box) instill confidence in the rest of the team. We've hired a manager who lost 11 out of his last 23 matches with QPR, a team that conceded 63 goals in one season and finished 15th. I guess finishing 14th at the end of the season will be "progress" to him. *checks table* Oh, how about that...

I've always wanted to know what supporting QPR feels like. Btw, anyone remember this classic? See if you can spot any inkling of ambition in Cifuentes' statement. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/leicester-city-appoint-marti-cifuentes-lcfc-new-manager The 43-year-old joins us on a three-year contract, bringing a modern, progressive footballing philosophy to Filbert Way, Leicester City Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said:“We’re delighted to welcome Martí to Leicester City. His energy, ambition and clarity of ideas stood out throughout the recruitment process. We felt strongly that bringing him to the Club would help us to create the success we all want in the years ahead. Martí is an excellent fit for our Football Club - his personal and coaching qualities will be vital to building an identity our fans will be able to see reflected in their team on the pitch.” Leicester City Manager Martí Cifuentes said: “It’s a great honour to be appointed Leicester City Manager. This is a fantastic Club with a proud history and it’s a privilege to me to be asked to help write the next chapter. I’m looking forward to getting to know the players, as well as connecting with our supporters and the city in the weeks and months ahead. I can see the passion that exists here, and I’m excited to begin this journey together.”

I suggest we start each game with 2 goals down from now on.

Took Fatawu 82 minutes to show some urgency. And 83 minutes to score. WE WANT A DRAW!
