Should've been more specific. I meant domestic cup games. Those four goals against Spartak were a once-in-a-lifetime happening.

What's the saying again? One swallow...

Yeah, just not for us. I'm convinced Daka's another case of an African footballer lying about his age. No way is he still 27.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
MC Prussian replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
That's where you are very much mistaken. -
Two (!) league goals in the past one and a half seasons. 18 goals in four and a half seasons so far. No goals in any cup competition whatsoever. £23m for that. And think of the wage he's on. The RB Salzburg management can still be heard laughing all the way to the bank to this very day. Guy's an embarrassment, and I wonder why we still put so much faith in him. It's not just the lack of service, his first touch is generally terrible. And that for a striker. Might as well play with ten men.

And he‘s just gone and done it. Crosby now is the Pens‘ all-time top-scorer. No.8 in the NHL all-time best list.

QPR 4-1 LCFC, post-match thread
MC Prussian replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just terrible. And terribly inconsistent. Mediocre team. Mediocre manager. Fits like a glove. -
This bloody commentary. Talking about a goal from a penalty, when the penalty hasn't even been executed. So cringe.

I'm off to watch the Cremo (with Vardy) again. Sad times when that's more entertaining than the team you've supported for nearly 30 years.
-
Things have to get worse before they can get any better. What an utter humiliation. When's the last time we were four goals down at half-time – in the Championship? Never?
-
Sack the fraud! This travesty has got to end. 4 goals down at QPR. Unacceptable. What a smack in the face just before the Christmas holidays.
-
Two-faced LCFC on the pitch again today. 3-0 down against QPR away. The inconsistency in this team's performances is appalling. Manager again has a lot to answer for. So sloppy.

Anyone using a Fairphone 6? I quite like the looks of it. Specs are rather underwhelming, though, in particular the processor power, memory (at least you can use MicroSD for expansion) and the battery capacity. They've also just released new headphones. I think I'll wait and see what the next generation of phones brings.

Just because of the four different Avengers: Doomsday trailers, I reckon.

FIFA to introduce a limited amount of £45 tickets... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c157xenkg24o Wow, the fan service is amazing.

LCFC 3-1 Ipswich, post-match thread
MC Prussian replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Quite the character arc for Bobby De Cordova-Reid. From zero (hardly playing, and when, it was out of position) to hero (finding his place in attacking midfield, scoring some great goals). 2nd in goalscoring right now, on par with Ayew, just one goal behind James. Very pleased for him. Then again, it just shows what terrible business Daka was. Positives? Three goals, two of them fantastic ones. Team effort, I can't really find fault with any of our starting on-field players (sauf the goalkeeper, see below). Negatives? Stolarczyk's "pass" that led to their goal. What the heck was he thinking? The drop in performance after going 3-0 up. Not for the first time that we've seen two completely different halves. Needs ironing out by the manager. -
My last political input in this thread; Let's hope you start shaming Canada's leadership and its politics in recent years as well as the political struggles in Mexico as vehemently as you dislike Orange Man Bad Man. That'd be only fair.

Are we going to shame other countries for their presidents/heads of state, too – retroactively? Qatar 2022? Russia 2018 (presidential cult, controlled opposition, human rights issues, press freedom)? Argentina 1978 (dictatorship)? Italy 1934 (in a truly fascist state)? Were the US any more democratic in 1994? Not really. The one-sidedness of the discussion here is quite telling. This isn't a Trump issue, it's a FIFA issue.

Quite telling how a World Cup thread can be derailed that quickly, just by mentioning one particular name. Some people are so easily triggered. Please get back on topic. TDS is getting quite boring and repetitive.

Night of the Comet (1985) – part of my quintessential 80ies LA trilogy, alongside Repo Man and Live and Let Die in LA. Underrated movie, starring Catherine Mary Stewart and Robert Beltran (Chakotay in Star Trek Voyager).

That's how you build an opponent back up. Absolute brain fart by Stolarczyk. Can't keep a clean sheet for toffee.
