Red Riding Trilogy. Superb. Downside? Can't find it on Blu-ray.

I think you can still cancel a show even if you have two seasons commissioned. Seems to me Apple wasn't that convinced by the concept initially. Yes, it's mad to think we used to get 20+ episodes a season, from September to May, with many shows ending on a cliffhanger. How spoilt we've been. Streaming's changed that forever.

Starting again, this time against Napoli. Match is just about to kick off.

You could equally call the musician calling off a concert over a name change a "toddler".

Doesn't exist any more. Deckoff plans to turn the island into a luxury resort. And Epstein's Florida home was wrecked by the new owner. https://www.forbes.com/sites/giacomotognini/2025/07/22/epsteins-properties-were-allegedly-the-sites-of-sexual-exploitation-now-theyve-all-been-sold/

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list
MC Prussian replied to Daggers's topic in General Chat
Is it just me or have more famous people/celebrities died in this year than in any other previously? Regarding Chris Rea, I'll always remember him for this gem: You couldn't escape this in 1986, then again in 1988. Played everywhere, everyday. -
On the whole, I don't see much ambition at the club right now, instead indifference rules – and that trickles down, all the way to the supporters. What's the goal? Has the management or owner ever issued a statement that we need or ought to achieve an immediate return to the Premier League? What are we doing in this league, generally speaking? Where do the people in charge want to see us finish? Is it the aim to just play along, take it as it comes? WIn some, lose some? Do they even care? Clearly nothing is done in order to unite the fanbase. Where's the effort? To me, the situation resembles a money-laundering scheme, where we just act as an intermediate for dirty money. There's a massive attitude problem, from top to bottom.

I also remember Begovic making crucial saves in several matches. Even at 38, he's a better goalkeeper than Stolarczyk.

I think it's down to production costs. The risk of a Season One failing is high. You can look at other series, same things happened – best example for this is Invasion, which I brought up a few weeks ago. Remember that they had to vacate entire parts of Albuquerque for certain shots. That's not cheap and wasn't CGI, as far as I can tell. We should see more action and a faster pace starting in Season Two, now that Pluribus has become so popular. I'd also say that's why it'll be taking two years for the next season, as they'll implement more crazy elements of the story. The beginning of episode 9 shows the threat to the 12 survivors. And lastly, Vince Gilligan isn't known for a love for fast-paced storytelling. Remember the fly episode in Breaking Bad?

In the end, it all boils down to a distinctive lack of leadership, both on and off the pitch. And a lack of tactical and transfer nous. Jordan James could be our very own Stevie G (I do hope we activate the transfer clause, because JJ is class). Other than that, Ricardo – the last reminder of glorious times past – would be our most experienced player right now, but is he truly captain material? I'll second everyone on here who's wishing for players that tell it how it is – I'm craving for identification figures, local lads, heroes, players with potential, players that take pride in donning the shirt. And that our current team as well as the coaching staff come across as "too nice". To me, this would also mean settling for a spine of 5 to 6 or even 6 to 7 English players in the starting line-up . Right now, the average is about 4 to 5. Because in its core, communication is the key for a successful team effort, and as a logical consequence, you need more homegrown players to achieve that goal. And we ought build on that, using long-term planning – trouble is, I don't see any planning whatsover. Pretty much every decision at the club these days is extremely short-sighted. Which brings my argument full-circle.

To the original question: Obviously not, there's always League One. Having said that, the similarities are eerie: 21 years ago, we said farewell to the Premier League. What followed were several dull and frustrating years, with managers coming and going. We spent years in this league without any real progress – on the contrary, we fell back progressively with each new season. Up until that fateful day away at Stoke in May 2008. Maybe we do need to drop down yet another level before the club management finally come to their senses.

One positive: More and more people are staying away from the football altogether. Because they've had enough. Vote with your wallet.

With Cifuentes, it's one step forward, two steps back. Terrible manager, lifeless, emotionless, uninspiring, dull. And that translates onto the pitch. 33 goals against in 23 matches. At this rate, we'll have shipped 70+ by the end of the season. Haven't kept a clean sheet in three months. Our build-up play is static, our style of play repetitive.

Fatawu is out of his mind. Bloody hell.
-
To be fair, I was hoping they'd score a third there.
-
The ever-obliging Leicester City. Watford have won how many games away from home this season? And now Stolarczyk has clearly caught the back four's braindead bug. I'd bench the guy for the foreseeable future and put more faith in Begovic.
-
Stolarczyk. Flying into a wide open space, just nowhere near the ball. Not for the first time.
-
Getting fed up with Fatawu being so bloody greedy.
-
Enormous mental issues in this team. And that's all down to the manager first. Cifuentes simply cannot instill confidence and has so far failed to address our defensive frailties.
-
Talking about keeping a clean sheet, then proceed to concede an equalizer just before half-time. Our team is braindead.
-
Jordan James opens the score!

Big fan of Russell Crowe. But him playing Göring? Just doesn't work for me. I'd rather stick to the 1961 version Judgment at Nuremberg.

Merry Christmas. 2026 can't come soon enough. 2025 has been a bit of a shit show (for various reasons).

Love the concept for Mammoth.
