Shout out to Uzbekistan. Making their debut on the world stage next summer. And Iraq still with a chance of qualifying for the first time since 1986. Need to beat Saudi Arabia, though.

This is the season where Crosby overtakes Le Magnifique and potentially breaks into the NHL's all-time points Top 5. Needs about 111 points, though, to be on par with the great (and somewhat forgotten) Ron Francis. Steep, but not impossible.

Seen a Facebook video analyzing Taylor Swift's new album. Tons of "stolen" melodies, from the Pixies to the Jonas Brothers.

Nobody talking about the ticket prices and the ticket draw system? https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cdjzknpxlv2o

Btw, Kill Bill is supposed to be released in cinemas as one movie in early December.

Tron: Ares is visually outstanding, with a fantastic NIN soundtrack (and Trent Reznor as an executive producer). See it in 3D if you can. Story is a bit lame, though. And it‘s hard to empathize when there‘s a lack of a proper protagonist.

Interestingly enough, this movie popped up in my FB feed today. Haven‘t seen it yet. I‘m a sucker for good Natives stories. Keen on a 4K Blu-ray release.

Ian Holloway, now at Swindon, nominated for League Two manager of the month.

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official

That'd be a fantastic return on investment for a loan striker. Carranza was also brought in to provide competition for a massively underperforming Daka. So far, it isn't working – in fact, both continue to stumble on the pitch, à la Laurel & Hardy. But still early days. And there's always hope. -
You could argue Game Pass users have profited from an extremely good deal in the past; it is very cheap for what it offers. From what I gather, the basic package gets a 29% price increase, Premium stays the same, Ultimate increases by 50% monthly. Day One releases limited to the Ultimate package, but cloud streaming is available to all users (barring certain restrictions).

According to latest news, Microsoft are allegedly close to doing a Sega and leaving the console market entirely. There may be one last console generation, and then that could be it. Shame, really. They've been a great competitor to Nintendo and Sony in particular in the past 23 years, but went off on the pricing lately.

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread
MC Prussian replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Huh? Cov, Boro, Preston, Stoke (and Ipswich for now) all have a better defensive record. Even Charlton sit on eight goals conceded. Faes didn't even play in the starting lineup in August. I'd argue the pairing of Vestergaard and Okoli is the better one. -
At this current rate, that'll be in November (once), March (once) and May (once).
-
What do we need strikers for then? Might as well play with a six-man midfield. Just like Spain did.

Vardy's a cultured man. Drinking Red Bull and chewing tobacco in the South of Lombardy is a dream come true. Also, Tuscany isn't too far off. In all honesty, food's probably ten times better down there. And then there's Milano for the missus, less than an hour away. And I suppose he thought he could replicate his Leicester days with another underdog, such as Cremonese.

If Daka is our best option up front, we have terrible options. Guy is on a massive wage, cost £23m when we bought him. And has scored an average of three goals – per season. Apart from his physique, he's the complete opposite of Vardy. He's fast (arguably). But what are his other qualities? Falling over, a poor first touch, missing his scoring boots week in, week out? What do we actually expect from a striker? Man, we've been so had by RB Salzburg with this deal. I've mentioned it in another thread, Daka should've moved to the Bundesliga or France in order to further prove himself, à la Haaland. The transfer to LCFC came too early. How much more patience, how much leniency do we still have, and how much of it is deserved? I'd love for Daka to find back to his former self. Because he's clearly still wondering what he's doing on the pitch. If he can't contribute until the end of December, he's only in the way and he's got to go. Next summer the latest.

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread
MC Prussian replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Jordan James reminded me of Stevie G yesterday. Unlucky not to get a second. Very strong presence, dominating, leadership qualities. That's two goals in two games now – from a central midfielder. We've been lacking that goalscoring threat in the middle for quite a while – Winks couldn't do it, and neither could Skipp or Soumaré. Maybe this acts as encouragement. I'm slightly concerned that we continue to fail to seal a win early on against lacklustre opposition. And our strikers continue to disappoint. Daka for years, and Carranza, who has the benefit of not having cost £23m, missed a sitter yesterday. I do hope he adapts to the league sooner than later. Vestergaard is joint top scorer with Fatawu, correct? That says it all. Faes is the biggest liability in this squad, puts the one-goal advantage into jeopardy recklessly with his showing-off. It doesn't matter whether the referee had a stinker with the penalty decision – you don't tackle like that in your own box. There was no need for it. Other than that, I'm glad Ramsey didn't get sent off again. The rest of the field players were solid, some a bit anonymous (De Cordova-Reid, I'm looking at you). Two weeks time to work on some of the basics, and decide on a starting XI. -
Arguably, Ayew can play on the right. Downside?i He's right-footed.

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official

Hardly a feat, he‘s been here four years and bagged about a dozen goals already.👀 -
R.I.P. Made it to 87. Led life to its fullest. Tumultuous years at LCFC under Milan, but he made the right choice before he left the club. I suppose there‘ll be a minute‘s silence before the home game on the 18th.

Is Carranza a footballer or a ballerina? Asking for a friend.
-
Fixed it for you.

That pass proves that Soumaré has no brain and no eyes.
-
Ay, Carranza! One for the replays...
