ttfn deleted his account - realised I hadn’t seen them post for a long time. That’s a shame, really good poster.

Strengths: Shouting Being called articulate by broadcasters with low expectations Weaknesses: Everything else. Not surprising we fell for the leadership bollocks, it’s the sort of intangible bullshit that higher up can use to excuse their own incompetence.

1.3 xG 3 shots on target and 11 in total against a totally out of sorts Man City, they were on the bottom 3 in the form table (I think). We had a few half chances.

Probably not, but we’re not particularly good. We can’t be as obstinate as we were against Liverpool & M City every game because we just won’t score.

I feel the same. The settlements on the coast are just crap - some of the inland towns have their charms, Grantham I think is actually quite attractive. Horncastle is nice, Bourne & Stamford are great. The wolds at least break up the flat landscape too but CSL, Ingoldmells, Skegness etc are just so dated.

I think it’s bleak tbh, especially this time of the year

Pint of Carling Premier for £2.90 at the Trafalga, visiting my grandad in Chapel St Leonards. I mean this earnestly, it’s a great slice of the 80s in there.

Daka has been fine in his premier league minutes generally. The reaction to his miscue the other day was OTT.

Could This Be the Most Important January Ever?
Stadt replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Probably the best alignment between a manager and chief scout ever. Pearson, Walsh, Shakespeare, Rennie, Balsom et al built something so special that even today the last vestiges keep the lights on. Pearson as non-executive director of football would be about the only move the incumbent ***** could don’t buy more time with me. -
Could This Be the Most Important January Ever?

We finally had Glover in place after the disastrous summer of 2022. We had the Fofana money, it was all set up to smash the first January we properly needed signings for, time was of the essence to save our season and we ended up with Kristiansen as the first in on the… 20th I think that’s when I realised we were just shit at getting deals done. Should have had 2 or 3 organised to join on the 1st (like Wood in 12/13). -
Liverpool 3-1 LCFC, post match thread
Stadt replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Daka’s barely played all season and he’s obviously going to be rusty - especially away at the best side in the world atm. Bit disappointed we didn’t offer more going forwards even when we were chasing. -
The chef/owner is Argentine. I went the first week it opened earlier on in the year, excellent food but the service was very green so they’d have sorted that by now.

Pietrezcko creeps me out

Most directors of football would kill for his level of autonomy. Instead he has his shit, grubby mitts all over every footballing function of the club. So his poisonous incompetence is absolutely insidious through the playing staff, coaching staff, academy, recruitment and the academy. Top is a pathetic character for letting this suck up run the show and he gets away with it because he's negligent.

We do have an older fanbase due to the proportion of seats occupied by STHs and how difficult it is to get a ST. It does have a knock on effect on the atmosphere - it's not ageist but just the reality of the situation. There are lots of younger zombies too, in fairness. What is definitely a problem - bar the family stand there's no supporter 'journey' around the ground e.g you start in the family stand as a child, progress to the Kop or L1 to be more vociferous before settling in to the west stand, as I understand this is what happened at Filbert Street. Right now kids bounce out at the first step because of ST availability and how expensive match tickets are. We've had THE prime opportunity to expand the ground to lock in a generation of fans but inertia and poor management have probably killed expansion happening quickly enough.

Poor from RVN not sub him at HT. Never mind not helping the the team at all sending him back out to get booed by your own fans is just bad management. Wolves bizarrely just sitting on their lead stopped it being 6 or 7.

He’s not a scapegoat for relegation he was the most culpable player

Tone deaf as always, 75% of them should leave it be sacked - they’re scum
