Definitely but players don't really develop areas they're so insufficient in. Danny Simpson was as limited going forwards at 21 as he was 31, Winks has never added assists to his game. Iversen will always be bad with his feet etc. Players have their strengths and weaknesses, they tend to improve in the areas they're strongest in. I could be wrong unless it's due to such a small data sample I can't seen Banzuzi ever being a pass master.

Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at

https://fbref.com/en/players/3ec9f005/Ismael-Saibari Numbers are incredible. RVN would know him well from the youth set up there. 6'1 versatile winger/AM. He's only started 30 odd games for them so I don't think they could angle for a Gakpo tier fee. -
Seems like a big unit that is dangerous in the box, good at dribbling, carrying but his passing and defensive work are underdeveloped looking at his FBref.
-
He's crap. 0.35 G+A per 90 with the bulk of his career in a weak league. Swerve swerve swerve
-
He’s a championship player. He’s relatively quick but he can’t dribble and his decision making is poor. His touch isn’t good enough to be a threat either.

They were absolutely terrified at the end, every time their central defenders had the ball facing their own goal they shanked it away for a throw. Vardy and Daka put in a proper shift. Our pressing is already miles better than under Cooper. We’ve ridden our luck a touch but it’s amazing what happens with better coaching and more intent. I know BDCR made the telling contributions but Mavididi completely changed the dynamic. McAteer is a championship player and Ayew should only ever be in the pitch at the fourth official’s say so.

Ah that’s a massive shame.

My favourite in the city centre. Fagans gets the plaudits but the Bath (perhaps Red Deer) is the better all rounder.

Cafe Krom sorry @Manini

It’s a travesty how we water down beers here. The Tyskie in Poland is really sweet for the ABV. Domestic Stella, San Miguel etc are the same.

Pleased the club are working with local businesses. I wish they’d extend that to the official partners. Especially with the food and beer in the ground, there’s a raft of great producers that would be transformed by a partnership with the club. Braybrooke or Round Corner on draught and I’d probably have a beer in the ground.

These are voluntary roles, covering the breadth of what the Trust engage in with a few hours a week across a handful of board members would spread them thinly. Plus my instinct is that the extant board didn’t want to step down.

BEK and Buonanotte’s combination play is great. Former has shown glimpses but today is the first time he’s put a complete performance in. Good signing.

We very rarely go ahead, we inexplicably did at the weekend but we got the monkey off our back. RVN has barely gotten the chance to get his methods across yet so we'll set up simply I think but it should suit us. Their last 4 away Won 2-0 at Newcastle Lost 3-0 at Forest Lost 4-1 at Spurs Drew 1-1 at Brentford Nothing to fear, set up with the intention win, no silly pressing schemes or elaborate build up and we're in a with a decent chance.

Hello there, it's me Captain Stefan Van Der Hassgracht of de Amsterdam Poliche again and this is my partner, and also very happy to shay my lover Ronald
-
He never really had a decent crack of the whip. He was absolutely fine when he first arrived in difficult circumstances, won the first two games and then we had quite a difficult run.

European Bar Guide is where I picked them up from, aside from Cafe Krem (which would totally be in there if the author visited). Art deco with a jukebox, cat and a bit more economical than the standard. https://theeuropeanbarguide.com/netherlands/ https://theeuropeanbarguide.com/maps/

Yeah I had the same thought. Lager and ale on, seasoned interiors, mix of young and old clientele. There's not many places I visit and would be happy to go again inside 6 months but Amsterdam is one of them. Feels like we scarcely scratched the surface.

Back from Amsterdam this evening. Fantastic pub culture. Autochthonous beers are always better but I was still surprised how easily the Heineken went down. The Brewery tour was far better than the Staropramen equivalent. That’s being said - Brouwerij ‘T Ij’s pils is nicer than Heineken, their cafe in the middle of Vondelpark is a cracker, it’s what the pavilion at Victoria Park could be like. Krem, Oosterling, De Dokter, English Arse, In De Wildeman, De Wetering all fantastic.

State of the squad and rest of the season, an opinion.
Stadt replied to Chrysalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
The best thing we can do defensively is to play much further up the pitch. Thankfully RVN likes to press high. VK, Faes, Okoli and Justin are better suited to that than defending the box for 70 minutes. Under Cooper we were abysmal as soon as we lost possession, RVN just being a million percent more contemporary with his methods than 2018 Cooper will go a long way. We know this can score goals, we can’t keep many clean sheets so we’re going to have score two and three a game to win. We don’t achieve that playing with three central defenders. -
The Bournemouth game in 22/23 was shambolic with so much riding on it - with longstanding coaches in charge to boot. This was worse. There’s no contingency when we sack a manager and worse still, no plan for sacking the manager initially. Shoddy operation all through the club. Yet the BC game bankruptcy is supposedly some genius move

If he had shirt hair he’d get probably 30% less stick. He’s in shit form but he’s a player people love to hate. Although he does have to improve and stop making basic errors, no one should get away with run like he has. That being said we’ve had no midfield since being promoted. When he first joined, imperious, last season he was mostly fantastic. He’s capable but the set up now is guaranteed to get the worst out of him. A game under some Cooper acolyte clown isn’t that damning tbh. If he has 5 clown show performances under RVN then yeah it’s time to bin

Expectations shouldn’t be raised after being successful, essentially. Player ability, squad depth, backroom staff, training grounds etc are irrelevant, you have your assigned place in the league and that’s that. Stupid throw away comment from a club legend needlessly prickly about us.
