  1. It's just staggering the lack of proactive thought. Rodgers was on borrowed time, except for that he wasn't - they genuinely had no plans to sack him even when it was apparent he was taking us down. You could almost forgive how long it took take sack him if they did have something lined up. But no, failure after failure. The weight of failure is so great you just forget how bad some of it actually was.
  2. I looked the other week, Ward is at -2.45 goals (or something) prevented PER 90
  3. They're so unimaginative. I'm fed up of the idea we appointed Cooper because of looming points deduction. Given we spent what we did, the club would have known we'd pass. Cooper fits with the KP lazy recruitment model. Pearson (worked well), Shakespeare, Puel, Cooper and RVN were not extensively researched appointments.
  4. Top would be absolutely clueless when it comes to replacing Rudkin. Rudkin is supposedly the football 'brain' and we still had to use a recruitment firm to pick up Glover. If the penny hasn't dropped for the just sack Rudkin brigade that Top is a moron - it never will.
  5. Also when sides are already down they spring a couple of wins
  6. I’d guess he’d be on more than that. Probably on £40k+ at Spurs.
  7. He’s starting to look a worse signing than Silva. It was indefensible at the time but some on here were happy
  8. I wrote the long since deleted article for UFS that Tanner published alongside the other fan groups’ thoughts around Jan/Feb 23. It was completely scathing (turned out to be right) and he was far too over-emotional about Top in a meeting where it was brought up - another acolyte.
  9. Leics population is ~1.05m, plus there’s North northants, south lincs etc
  10. He’s emotional enough that he might **** off if he gets enough heat. The just sack Rudkin mob are deluded, where does Top turn next? Rudkin is his most trusted adviser, it’d be some mercenary recruitment firm tasked to cluelessly pick the most influential sporting controller at the club. Then, it’d be the same clueless poison dwarf trying to drive standards and hold the DoF accountable. Rudkin should have been removed probably 3 or 4 times over, Whelan probably the same but here we are - because Aiyawatt does **** all.
  11. Those two teams set up differently against Chelsea precisely because of the better squad. Recruiting for/under Enzo would be better too. No way would he green light dossers like Skipp, BDCR, Ayew.
  12. There’s always some interest in clubs. The idea that nobody would want us is daft. We have a far bigger profile compared to comparable clubs from the title win. Possibly the best training ground in the world, a productive academy despite the self-imposed barriers. 1000s of fans hat would go but can’t through the stadium capacity and other self-imposed barriers. It just all depends on the finances and the debt.
  13. His plan A would be enough. Palace and Fulham were hardly impressive, I think we probably take 4 points from those two.
  14. No, you can donate to the group or directly to The Bridge whenever.
  15. Football Nottingham accents are terrible. ‘Fletch’ and Nick Millar’s voices both go right through me
  16. They both served their utility and then sacked them. No club gets every appointment right but they’ve about played it perfectly since promotion. We appear to have learned absolutely zero WRT manager recruitment
  17. It took drastic circumstances to do it as well. In the top flight their track record is to go for PL experience.
  18. They sacked O’Neil quickly too
  19. It was Mahrez that got us over the line imo, the Palace and Watford goals to win both 1-0 just mattered so much.
  20. GB does, never went pre-refurb but it's so soulless, I hate the contemporary Indian restaurant grey look pubs are going for. Pubs should not have LED spotlights!
  21. Not done Silbey or Barrow yet, waiting for nicer/dryer weather to walk over.
  22. Most of the charges are 10+ years old from memory. We'd all be raging if the league tried to stitch us up because of a dodgy deal (like Trestellar or whatever) when so much time has passed.
  23. It's a shame the opening hours are what they are but I totally get why. The clip they rotate through the bottled selection is impressive
  24. Wilfred Pinsent and the Swan 1-2 in Mountsorrel is just corking, I've said it before but those two can hold a candle to any pair. Had a bottle of Gäffel Kolsch, then a Hall's Brewery (Coalville) Keller lager in WP, pint of Round Corner Market Pale in the Swan, capped of by a Blue Fox in the Sorrel Fox. Susan as some would say.
