3 hours minimum on a flight in total plus, another few in the airport and probably another hour each way going to and from the airport for half a day somewhere - not for me. He'll get a job at a Sevilla tier club after Chelsea. Got very frustrated with him in the end but he's a talented coach and he's gotten us up once already. Better than anybody for actually playing young players too. Nelson, McAteer, Jakub and even Marcal got a decent amount of minutes.

I wonder what it’d take for some to finally be King Power out. The worst and mosy expensive PL relegation a few years after finishing 5th twice, plus winning the cup isn’t enough. £200m+ of players leaving on frees, our best players leaving, PSR charges, monumental losses each season, gambling future TV revenue for advances, not expanding the ground, scandalous match day pricing, £25 charges for a physical season ticket etc etc What would it take? 5 years in the championship doldrums? We want KP out before it gets that bad. A stitch in time saves nine.

They might but it's better forcing the issue rather than doing the counterfactual, which is watering down any protest sentiment enough that KPFC Ultras won't be annoyed at it. The narrative would be Leicester Fans Protest Against Owners, Some Fans Express Support for Owner. At the minute we're basically just tacitly expressing support for the owner anyway.

There is no protest they'd be hay with, most would back Top if we went down to league one because his dad died - nothing to do with his own ability to run the club.

The same fans are alienated by any protest. They think it's just one of those things that happens, we were in league one {current_year-2009} years ago. They have to be ignored because they just pay less attention to what's going on.

Abrasive anti-KP/Top sentiment is going to catch more attention than the witty slogan nicey-nicey approach. They're not doing anything differently yet so it's time to escalate it. Are they going to sell up immediately? No, but are they under more pressure and more likely to enact change from a point of self-preservation. How it plays with the KP circle in Thailand is important too. 'KP Out' means Top's mum and the family are going to look even more disapprovingly on the project. Trying to keep the sensible, middle-grounder fans on board doesn't move the needle because they're very unlikely to protest anyway.

The steadfast KPFC (mostly on facebook) lot are low-information, passive fans generally. They don't follow football writ large, they don't know what directors of football are supposed to do, what going rates are for players etc, why we can't shift the crap. They're bowled over by free doughnuts etc because it's something tangible whereas the behind the scenes stuff is gobbledegook. Vichai's death means KP and Top should just never be questioned in their eyes. So that lot have to be ignored because they have nothing constructive to say about our ownership, just emotional whataboutery.

All of them haven’t completely reversed the upward trajectory of their clubs in about 3 years? We’ve gotten worse more or less every year Top has been in charge.

The managerial recruitment process has always been toss. We were well ran up to 15/16 because Pearson’s appointments were in place still. There is no strategy if any success or lack of it comes down to individuals. The well run clubs across Europe have a level of alignment across departments that transcends individuals. Our successful recruitment happened under Walsh and Macia, under everybody else it’s about a 20% hit rate.

He's off it this season but we've had two of our worst ever PL managers not being picked by those two isn't as damning as it might be. He was promoted with Norwich and in the PFA TOTY last time. I'm not a fan of his particularly and it was a stupid signing but he's a good Championship player.

We're not selling him anytime soon, he was good for Norwich in the championship when he last played in it. He's also not one of the culpable twats this season (directly).

It paints the club in a bad light but the news cycle moves quickly. What happens in 6 months' time when the press move on, UFS are still banned? It's better to lobby against the regime visually in the ground each week rather than kicking up enough a fuss to be banned once. The club will start to notice when attendances drop, they have their head in the sand now - the moment has to be right.

The risk is the club just crackdown and UFS and ban even more members without achieving much at all. A big stunt would catch the media attention for a week which wouldn't be worth effectively wrapping the group up over. The people at the club that deal with UFS are pretty far removed from the top brass. Even at FCC meetings Whelan will just defen the club status quo anyway.
