Had on offer on my first house accepted over the weekend, 11k under the asking price so pleased with that - I negotiated pretty well. Any advice on furniture and white goods (aside from FB marketplace)?

Foxes Trust Reform - show your support!

The reform group and UFS are well aligned -
Man United winning title after title would be wank. Man City will eventually tail off too but they’re mostly not insufferable.

We’re critical of ourselves (good) but when it comes down to it we’re a proper club. Good history (although not that illustrious until recently) solid fanbase, strong standing in the game. In the PL era, what the **** have any of our local rivals achieved? We’ve won the domestic set and they’ve all won various sold-out-Wembley-in-the-play-offs-trophies. Tricky one

The war museum in Vienna is class. I couldn’t stop laughing at a Swastika sequin cushion. The royal palace (the main one, sorry can’t recall the name) is worth seeing. Cafe Schwarzenberg is amazing for breakfast, lovely ornate interior - what you expect from Vienna. Cafe Delerium and Bockshorn are hardly authentic but great pubs.

Italian lager is great but their pub/bar scene doesn’t match up to it. Peroni red and Ichnusa are so easy to drink

My mate’s the ref tonight -
It’s a fantastic amount of G+A per 90. Shame we didn’t see him tried as a 10 a bit more often.

Sorry I get the principle it’s just your wording confused me (not trying to be difficult)

Do you mean lose more than otherwise?

Beer festival is back, at Abbey Pumping Station in July https://www.visitleicester.info/whats-on/leicester-beer-festival-2024-p941111+?crmLink=7

A bargain!? I don't mind him but we lost £89.5m in last year's accounts. We can lose £105m over 3 years so £10m for Akgun is ludicrous. We're going to have to sign 2 or even 3 players for that sort of money.

We need to land some excellent free transfers and loans. Easier said than done but Fatawu-esque wildcards are out there. Strategically, we have to build a squad as cheaply as possible to manage to turn a profit without selling our good assets. - Shift the excess keepers - Sell the high earners who won’t be first choice (Soumare, Souttar) - Sign a LB if we sell Kristiansen - Sign a DM if Ndidi doesn’t re-sign - Sign an advanced 8/10 - Sign 2 wingers - Further integrate Nelson, Alves & Braybrooke Lavia, Chukwuemeka, Oscar Bobb, Sergio Gomez, Fabio Vieira types on loan will help no end. I’d like us to more expensively recruit from the big 6 U21 sides as was seemingly Glover’s MO at Southampton.

Was so drinkable for the strength. Was it on at the Rock? (Annoys me how few pubs in town serve local breweries’ beer). I’d recommend the tour if you haven’t already done it.

The English Strong Bitter Mt St Bernard’s did was unbelievably good

Any recommendations for Kotor and Tivat plus one of Budva or Perast in Montenegro?

The circumstances were tragic but what more of a primer could he need? He had an elite education and he shadowed his dad for 7 years as director at LCFC plus experience at KP and Leuven. He's had such a good induction to be CEO and given he's bad at it is what's so worrying. The delayed sacking of Rodgers was such an unforced error it's set us back about decade. He' then doubled down on it by not replacing any of the other backroom apparatus at the club. Currently Enzo is the one holding the club together at the seams and he's already made overtures about being unhappy. Given the managerial shelf life at the club is about 2.5 years anyway it's worrying with the FFP albatross around our neck. Complacency got us in the mess and already feels as though just retuning to the top flight is seen as the success in itself.

Vardy is unreliable with his age and injury record. Daka may leave - unless we have a contract offer matching what we paid for him - he's going nowhere. Even if we sold him for say £5m, we have to spend as much or more to get a replacement in on more wages. We have a depth issue as it is so selling unnecessarily does us no favours.

And almost of all of them stored in one house

The OG “For top flight football - Use J21” was class

West Ham have been rubbish for a while. We all of clubs should know you can sack a succesful manager because the trajectory is awful
-
It doesn’t mean he’s beyond criticism, although he acts like he should be. I’m no ‘none of this would have happened under Vichai’ fanatic but he was humbler than Top.
-
Nah. People rightly criticised the 15/16 self-indulgence too. King Bhumhole or whatever being paraded around the pitch also had zilch to do with the players and the management.
-
It’s not hard to get it right. Nobody was complaining in 13/14 because it was done as it should be.
