It’s all so lazy. I try not to be hysterical but I think of Top doesn’t sell we will be in League 1 in five or so years. They can’t even run the club in a standard, perfunctory manner. It’s not that the wrong decisions are made for the most part, it’s just no decision happens.
-
This would make sense. East Asian ownership has been crap for Birmingham and West Brom too.
-
I think you’ve misunderstood what I meant. I’m not doubting why they would be attached it just seems strange that he’s so negligent in the running of the club. You’d think the sentimentally would lead to driving better performance

Top should sell up entirely but if he has too much of an emotional attachment blah blah (nobody neglects something through emotional attachment in any other walk of life) then he should sell but retain a minority stake in the club. That way he gets to gallivant and keep occasionally playing with his toy but he doesn't have to run the club. It'd be the best move for all parties as it probably gets the family off his back, we have a competent owner and the nauses get to lick the KP piss off the nettle indefinitely.

We also have the most expensive electricity pricing in Europe which canes manufacturing

I get the impression that Rudkin probably has a completely average IQ. Not somebody you want in charge of multi-million pound deals and decisions.
-
Norcroft more or less dispelled that on BSLB. He said Pearson was like a DoF anyway. Having the head of recruitment as your assistant manager created exactly the sort of alignment clubs need, plus Walsh probably took on some DoF duties like contract negotiation/valuation bits anyway. Rudkin landed in a position where everything was done for him, as Pearson's work and appointments dissipated/left over time it only gradually started to expose Rudkin's incompetence.

If Top was semi-competent and anything over than a baby he'd have made some changes by now. The fact he hasn't means he has to sell. You're in denial if you think he'll suddenly have an epiphany and sack the people who have been useless for 5 years.

Right sort of profile (age, league, record, price0 but it's a senior striker we need to be targeting. Daka has a year left and we shouldn't be putting obstacles in Evans' pathway.
-
We spent big in 21/22 and consciously didn’t sell anybody. None of those players were signed as first choice players which was absolutely stupid. Daka and Soumare were defensible signings given their ages and profiles but we should have signed a first choice RW to improve on Perez.

Wright’s been phenomenal with the bat the past few seasons

2 points per game must have been crap

I thought it was in Latvian because some of the accents on the text. WS is famous but also sort of generic.

2 was completely weird, I went there not that long ago but the language looked different to me. Maybe I just didn't look closely enough.

If you blindly get angry about Man City's 115 alleged charges you're slow. They mostly relate to not reporting payment to players when FFP rules were completely different to almost a decade ago. They cheated and they should be punished but they've had their house in order for years now. FFP rules are bollocks and I'm in favour of clubs delegitimising the whole thing. Our club are the only ones stupid enough to not circumvent the rules or stick within them.

Actually somewhat underrated in my opinion. Contemporary football is just completely overexposed and saturated so there's nowhere to hide like the greats of yesteryear. Every clip, stat, game is available. You can't don a 'I'm a serious football thinker' contrarian cap with current players. Whereas Scholes etc can have a mythos ascribed to them after their career and stupid tree-hitting training anecdotes. Seeing De Bruyne do it week after week for 8 years in ultra HD or whatever removes the analogue mystique. Playing for such a fanatic Man City team and being Belgian just make him less glamorous too. Watch a compilation and you think farkking hell this bloke actually is one of the very best.

Yeah they’re completely different in the face, build and manor

Tim Vine and Jeremy Vine are brothers

Chelsea A, yep. It was quite an encouraging performance given the squad was threadbare.
