Jhon Duran scored goals in the MLS and his game scaled up fine. His record per 90 is decent in the Netherlands too. This is a guy on loan who doesn’t have to be that that good to be better than our current options. Takes good shots, presses well and he’s reasonably competent in the air. A loan with an option is smart business.

This is a Rudkin problem. Proactive DoFs try and bomb players out quickly when it's clear managers don't rate them when their resale value is still relatively high. Whether Rodgers wanted to keep him or not we had to accept that bid, the point of having a director of football is stop a vandal manager trying to have it all their own way with short terms thinking.
