  1. Appointed Maresca by 16th June last year and had three friendlies lined up. I know PL starts later but we don’t half look unprepared. We flogged Maddison by 28th June - so time is ticking there too for any sale to assist on PSR
  2. That Groundhop will boost the coffers too.!
  3. If you want basic but comfy, Bloc Hotel in the airport is fine enough. Also got priority security with it (and it’s literally five mins from it).
  4. Train travel in this country summed up. 3rd august - Eurostar to Amsterdam 3rd August can’t get to London from Leicester due to engineering works Second and third options are taking the train from Nuneaton or Rugby. Walk to St Pancras from Euston. Bus replacement services between Leicester and Birmingham that day - so have to drive or get a lift to Nuneaton….which have to do as well for the third choice Rugby. It’s a broken organisational nightmare
  5. @Foxes_Trustwas there any alterations to the sub groups and board following the existing members of these groups also undertaking the skills matrix ? 4th attempt - 11 days since I first asked. This is why the Trust faces the scrutiny - simple question which is unanswered and it appears now that the existing members were all accepted on their skills matrix submissions. Not to mention the optics that the submissions of existing board/sub-group members gets looked at by who?
  6. My knees look like the battle of Somme
  7. Good weekend of running Brauny Pk Park Run pb lowered by twenty seconds Ran my first sub 50, 10k in four years today.
  8. I went Clevedon yesterday for a wedding. What a pretty place I never knew was that nice. More tellingly it wasn’t swamped with tourists and felt very sleepy almost
  9. Maurizio was elite when takeaway. Suffered a lot trying to be a restaurant. I prepared the days of sending an order via whats app and getting 🍕🇮🇹👨🏻‍🍳 back rather than kids running a mock. Doughwhat is decent too but pricey - however it’s a near necessity for us as my partner can’t have dairy and they do vegan cheese
  10. Yep you’ve got it. Got rushed back from injury to help the cause. Probably not helped by the Danish winter break either meaning he hadnt got miles on the clock before he was playing PL speed (started very well v Villa and Arsenal). Would love to see here under a different manager. Watched him live for Bologna this season and he was completely untroubled. Worked really good launching counter attacks/transition. I do wonder if he will never ‘work’ in English football. I was told he’s really intelligent and his hobbies aren’t what you associated with an average footballer. So simply might not fit in the normal English football culture
  11. Fair to say that would have been all agreed before Enzo leaving.
  12. There’s a thought the club aren’t happy with Morris cos of Enzo leaving
  13. If you were Nelson, you'd be a little miffed. Club should priortising the development of him over giving players contracts until they are 34 (all evidence suggest its not sensible)
  14. Wouldn't be fair on the individuals to be specific but was more aimed about presenting the amount of info we brought to the table - we put out a load of information on a presentation which took 1hr plus. We might be better in future having calls which are shorter and less information overload! Then allow people to ask questions to fill in the gaps they require. Equally how do we present that information/presentation so it can be shared and consumed by as many people as possible? Not everyone can hold themselves to a time and place. That's why we've tried to encourage the use of the e-mail really.
  15. I see Non-League's Snake Oil Salesman, Steve King, has turned up at Hednesford
  16. Learning lots at the same time. On the whole good feedback but really interesting the comments we have received.
  17. This is true as others have said
  18. That’s bizarre thinking there. Operating costs have increased substantially since the £105m limit was in. Basically they’d rather kill each other than actually make a sensible claim.
  19. You'd think we'd have been clever enough to push for a non pinch clause but you know LCFC.
  20. Yeah Excellent (but very long) article here - https://www.tntsports.co.uk/football/world-cup/2018/the-hod-complex-england-and-the-1998-world-cup_sto6795833/story.shtml Includes quotes from Southgate
  21. To be fair Southgate might be filtering them out as the camp goes on and just being straight up with. Rather than making players wait until the weekend and they think they've been wasting the last few days. The whole Hoddle France 98 thing probably left a mark on him on how not to do (Hoddle made the entire squad wait X factor style and get called into this office)
  22. Listening to a podcast earlier - you could make an argument this is the weakest group in European Championship history
  23. Perspection is he's a manager who failed to be successful in the Premier League. His reputation is on the down - not his age By comparison, Corberan looks more attractive has we don't know if he would work in the Premier League. His reputation is on the up after a good season with WBA.
  24. I think the perspective here is massive. You have a lot of unknowns at LCFC currently - appointing a manager perceived whose on his way down and salvaging his reparation rather than a manager on his way up, trying to build it just isn't a good luck.
