Yeah was mad. Because it pulled even those who weren’t following the pacer to go that. Explains why we were way ahead of 1:45 at some point -

Totally. The irony was my brother who was supposed to be shepherding around went to levels of speed he hadn’t done before! -

1:57 very chuffed - not my quickest by any stretch but ran it really well and controlled. My brother probably could have got 1:55, he was flying and he pulled me up New Walk to my quickest time up there. Horrible scene at top of New Walk. Hope those affected are okay -

Yeah hopefully some PBs smashed for some. Retrospectively having done a few now. I think Leicester is one of the better routes to get a quick time provided you have that tough finish in you. Not Bournemouth or Great Eastern flat but it's not Sheffield hills. Like Ric, I've got rid of the cold. However I'm running Leicester with very different intentions. It's been a while for good reasons that I haven't been PB chasing. This year has been a bit of up and down thing with my running. All of sudden in this past month, the gym has been pulling through with real muscle mass gains which has changed my body in so many ways and I have lost 4kg out of nowhere. In combo with the long runs in training. However, personal things aside. It's the first half that my brother is doing. We've trained together and we hope with a bit of luck we beat 2hrs. He'd always said to me after I ran other half that we wanted to do one himself. He's been training around North Leics and I think he's a bit resistant to think we might break the 2 hr mark as his training runs have been at sort of 2:05 pace. He's underestimating the hills he runs up at home and I actually think he will find the first half quite reasonable. Go well on Sunday everyone. We all do it for reasons. They are all personal. They all come in our minds when we are at it. We all suffer. Even if you find Sunday a good run, you'll have suffered training for it. We will have all gritted our teeth on our way. We will all get that hit at the finish line. We will all enjoy the Sunday feed. -

So finally chance to talk about my Belgian Sojourn. Saturday night. - KRC Mechelen 5 Royal Cappellen 1 Majestic old ground on edge of the city. Beautiful huge old stand with terracing below it. Unique facade. Serious terracing with overlooking flats and the smell of weed coming from. Lovely little bar inside the ground. Home side won 5-1 against 10 men. You could see the cathedral tower from the top of the stand. Sunday - Rupel Boom 0 Eintracht Termin (sp) 1 3rd v 2nd. When I arrived at Boom via Antwerp. I thought why the **** am I? Just two platforms, loads of tracks, no sign of life. A building with no ticket office. This is the town which hosts the music festival Tomorrowland and the walk down a dual carriageway on the way to game was not hopeful. But then the walk turned into a beautiful wander through a park - autumn at its best with water running through the park. Peeking out of the trees, a stand. A football ground. A beautifully dated bar under the stand selling Duvel and hot dogs which looked shit but tasted excellent. The club of Lukaku - another mighty impressive stand, terracing all of the way around with it really steep at one end and a small ultras section. Really good game - got more entertaining as Boom tried everything to find an equaliser. Two excellent grounds - it felt like I'd visited proper Belgium. I will go back to do some of these smaller grounds. There is a host of them within Belgium. Due to the way the league system works and clubs emerging etc, they are so real oddities in the lower reaches and international breaks are good time to do them.

An Evening With Leicester City Legends

I know three in a row but I was interested with all four of them saying Pearson would have won the PL. They did however say Ranieri's masterstroke was not changing too much and eluded to that was his downfall in the second season. I really hope Nige gets one of these evenings. -
To be fair Huth was spot on. He said he would take a meaningful role.

Yet his tally of 1 goal and 1 assist from 11 is surpassed or equalled by Monga, Fatawu and Ramsey -

His LinkedIn is saying scouting role. So be very loose basis -
I did the Legend 15-16 thing last night and I don't know how many times they spoke about culture. Morgan even cited what Pearson did.

I'd have a night out with Huth. In reference to their opinions on the current state of the club, I found what wasn't said more interesting than what was. Aiyawatt didn't get much praise. -
To be fair, McBurnie shit us up even when we were decent. He got 7 PL goals for Sheff Yoo and we account for two of them.

3 games, first start yesterday. Should have scored last night with the ideal opportunity for him.

By which we will be 30% of the season in. People need to calm the **** down. I often thought the stuff about us being entitled was bollocks but I am starting to think otherwise. By the way there are concerning signs, I don't doubt that but the nature of the league or our squad, it needs time. We could afford to give him until February on this form, if promotion was an absolute must.

Guys he did an interview released at thr weekend about the pressure of the Celtic job for me that was a clear tactic to remind PL clubs he’s still about
-
He’s making some errors here but I think the fanbase have to be patient. We are going to be woefully inconsistent this season. The job created by the incompetence of the hierarchy means it’s a serious two year project. The quick fixes lead to a repeat of last season. Keep letting managers go after six months in the role and unable to shape their squad. That allows the likes of Rudkin to keep giving out contracts to do that squad shaping and it’s a recipe for continued failure. New manager comes in and then takes another three months to realise that he’s got toxic players at the club. I think back to Pearson dealing with the squad post Sven. It took him a couple of go’s at it and he didn’t immediately get rid of Matt Mills et al. In fact Mills was man of the match in a great win at Southampton. Over time he got rid of them. Some stuck around with a change in attitude (St Ledger). I don’t think there’s a quick fix answer. I don’t think this squad is that much better than the division anymore. A lot of these players have simply got worst at football
-
They should look to utilise the chance to go elsewhere in the county but there is absolute zero vision at the club regards the women’s team. The slight issue is the two best non league grounds in the county have 4G pitches (facilities wise they’d be the equal of Everton‘s Walton Hall). Aylestone Park or Coalville Town is probably your next best bet

Kidsgrove kicked off yesterday with 9 men and got the game suspended hahah

I hope they've learnt their lessons from last year. Was a disaster supposedly. -
They very much did. I knew of one Villa fan not attending due to the likelyhood of violence. A fair few were utterly appalled by the control of Legia last season and didn’t want a repeat
