  1. six goals conceded in two games for Leeds
  2. Those five subs worked
  3. "Leeds, Leeds are getting shitter again"
  4. Perfect Draw Oxford United v AFC Bournemouth AFC Wimbledon v Leyton Orient Coventry City v Birmingham City Queens Park Rangers v Brentford Crawley Town v Brighton & Hove Albion Wycombe Wanderers v Cardiff City Watford v Crystal Palace Swansea City v Fulham Luton Town v Southampton Millwall v West Ham United Norwich City v Ipswich Town Plymouth Arygle/Cheltenham Town v Colchester United Barnsley v Sheffield United Barrow v Everton Bolton Wanderers v Blackburn Rovers Leicester City v Blackpool Fleetwood Town v Burnley Derby County v Nottingham Forest Doncaster Rovers v Leeds Utd or Middlesbrough Grimsby Town v Hull City or Sheffield Wednesday Harrogate Town v Rotherham United Huddersfield Town v Newcastle United Tranmere Rovers v Preston North End Shrewsbury Town v Stoke City Walsall v Wolves
  5. Hopefully if we make round three, Luton away please.
  6. We need an home tie, best chance at progressing. I'd say home to Coventry City. Edit: Just noticed their in southern section... I'd say Blackpool at home. Haven't played them in a few years.
  7. Promotion favourites Telford were battered at home 1-5 to Stourbridge. No win yet for the Shropshire team a lot of pressure on Wilkin this season. Having missed out on Promotion last.
  8. Boro playing away to Sutton United tonight.... not that one. Sutton United in Sutton Coldfield, its interesting to think two clubs with the same name. Weve played the London Sutton United back in 1999 but never this team.
  9. I can see them making the play offs this season.. promotion? Not this season... stiff competition i wouldn't rule out the same three that came down, go straight back up. Plus Peterborough, Bolton, Barnsley and Wigan tend to have there say.
  10. Wins the first game suddenly everyone will be like "never doubted him for one minute" 😆
  11. Management expert Rooney, showing his tactical genius once again. Rooney is like another Gerrard and Lampard, top players but hopeless in management. Just shows how these ex players relied on top managers. You'd think another failed job for Rooney would be the end. Give credit to Alan Shearer, after Newcastle United went down he admitted he failed and accepted management wasn't for him, despite a number of job offers that followed in the coming years he said he no after left management behind.
  12. Soon as you walk you know its a low level a random broken turnstile in basically in middle of a car park. Give credit to volunteers who care a lot about the club.
  13. Cant base things on pre season Problem is i dont think there is a small camp desperately Cooper to fail so say they cant say "told you so... forest reject" I somehow dont think if Potter had the set of results hed be getting calls to go this early.
  14. Wow you dont half moan chill out dude it may never happen
  15. Its feels like were sending a damaged ship into a big sea battle, unstaffed crew, barely any weapons with without enough food and water on board. Like that ship, the morale all round must be low. To go from champions to then think we could face a few batterings here.
  16. One positive is that gate brings great revenue to the club. Scunny i think will cruise it this year to the title. Went to watch Boro at Wednesfield (in wolves) very small setup there but to their credit least they have home. Attendance 118 which basically was mainly Boro fans. May have been a few more their if wolves werent at home the spoons there royal tiger was packed full of wolves fan going to the match. Boro won 4-0, first half was poor and shocking passing from us. Wednesfield did defend quite well tbh in the first period despite conceding a pen in the first minute. Second half think the lads got a hairdryer treatment looked better and seem to open Wednesfield up more. Totally in control in second half. Not vintage but wins a win and cant moan about winning 4-0 away from home no matter who you play. Think thats most ive seen us score away.
  17. I've never seen it what ever it was it caused big bang.
  18. It's a strange rule, motivation wise it can't help the players. Are they in the Fa Cup or Fa Vase?
  19. It's a tough call for me..... One president can stand up to terriorists One president can stand up to aliens One president can stand up to asteroid
  20. He said "It's coming home"
  21. Looking at national league wouldn't be surprised if Gateshead win it, which cause complications as they weren't even allowed up due to ground issues. Im surprised from Gateshead point of view they haven't looked at groundshare options just so they dont miss out on the chance of efl. I mean Hartlepool isnt too far away and would of course meet efl requirements.
  22. Can imagine testimonial or memorial match being arranged against leicester and walsall maybe. Wont be surprised if itll be first pre season friendly next year. Foxes away to Walsall. So sad loved this guy, for me best English assistant coach in the business. Cant deny we missed his presence after he left in 2018. His brief return with Dean Smith came a little too late. I think it would be nice to honour him by renaming one of stands. Not many coaches at the club can say he was there for when leicester got promoted straight back from league one, won the championship, won the Premier League, reach the champions league quarter final. Craig Shakespeare's East Stand
  23. We were never liked even before but as Millwall would say "do we care"
  24. Boro win again at Chelmsley Town who play at Coleshill Town these days. Attendance: 402, with around 250 from Nuneaton. The clubs at this level must feel like they've hit the jackpot when Boro come visiting. Wednesfield on Saturday near Wolverhampton, travelling down for that and can imagine once again at decent following from the Boro expected.
  25. We played Villa two seasons ago at home, over 2,000 attended there was a good 300 villa supporters present also. I think most expected to see a few fringe players maybe first xi. The most famous person there was ref stuart attwell! Villa players were mixture of under 18s and under 21s. The real Villa were on route to Dubai. Interestingly Tyrone Mings came down in the morning.... too apparently assess the pitch?? Never knew he was groundsman expert
