  1. Yeah I meant the 4 Welsh clubs in the EFL. Probably unfair grouping Newport with the other 3 to some extent.
  2. Seems a bit like the bigger clubs in the EFL wanting to have their cake and eat it.
  3. I love that he chests it in and just stands in the net
  4. Looks like a footballers naff 'brand' logo they get knocked up by someone after their playing career has finished. Copyright of Emmanuel Adebayor 7 Ltd
  5. Sounds interesting, I've added it to my list.
  6. I know that's the mirror so it's hardly any barometer of good press, but clearly the media have learnt nothing in that time either, and neither have plenty of people over here. Many don't appear to care what Trump does, there is undoubtedly a level of cultist appeal, but there must be a great number of people who simply couldn't vote for Kamala for some reason. I don't really understand it and I'm not sure what the answer is, but calling all of trumps 70 million voters dumb isn't it. It isn't that black and white and you well know that.
  7. I just want to echo this, Izzy. A degree in maths or economics from a good uni is absolutely worth it and she will go places with that behind her. But to reiterate what others have said, student finance is a tax not a debt. I have about 50k worth (Pre fee rises) from studying to be an architect, I won't ever come close to paying it off but it occupies absolutely 0 mental head space. Below my NI and tax is another slightly smaller number on my payslip before my take home, and that's it. My experience is that our school certainly pushed more kids towards uni that it should've, but suggesting you've basically got to be a doctor or a lawyer for it to be worth it are talking out their backside. Interestingly, I was speaking to a former tutor/head of school on Friday and he was saying that their most lucrative income stream is selling their curriculum to foreign unis who teach it abroad under a 'partnership' and there is a UK uni 'campus' in China, Malaysia etc
  8. My favourite thing about it is the enormous but text less King Power logo. I just love to show my loyalty to Thai Duty Free on all of my clothes, and now I can.
  9. New merch on the club shop, look at this beauty! ONLY £200!!!!!!!
  10. Enjoyed this the other night..
  11. I think it's a bit of both though isn't it. KDH is a very specific example of our failure but the way the rules are incentivises teams to sell their youth. That's how Man City and Chelsea are building their operations isn't it.
  12. Disagree. Exhibit A...
  13. So one game 24 years ago means they can't complain about anything? Right. What a bizarre thing to do to invoke that in a discussion about Saturday's refereeing.
  14. I lived in York and echo the above. Knaresborough is nicer for a wander around I think, but you could do Knaresborough in the morning and Harrogate for afternoon/evening as there are probably more food/drink options there. You have to go through Knaresborough to get to Harrogate on the train anyway so could do both in a day if you really wanted to make the most of it.
  15. Dead heat, winner to be decided by an old fashioned duel. Trump would get his head blown off whilst trying to work out how to fire a gun. The Republicans would then begrudgingly respect Harris for her gun(wo)manship and start hootin' and hollerin'. Donald is quickly forgotten. American politics/society evolves in a considered, and progressive way. Everybody wins.
  16. Get on maps aerial view, Izzy's Jag must be that big shiny bright spot in the village..
  17. On this theme, jigsaws. Good solo or with a few people. Easy to dip in and out of.
  18. Nothing to see here, it's just weather. Where's my private jet at?
  19. Such an American
  20. You'd hope so but I think the more likely outcome is that Richard Ladd is a bellend. I do think it probably should be on new purchases rather than existing as there may well be an impact on people selling their actual home but oh well.
  21. Nearly shit myself on a plane earlier this year. We were on a stag do so hadn't been eating well, felt the need come on just as we were supposed to join the queue for board and then take off was delayed. Had to ask to get up and shit whilst it was taxiing which I did quickly, and then I had to go again as soon as the seat belt signs went off cause I hadn't got it all outthe first time. It was quite traumatic, I really thought I was gonna shit myself.
  22. Booked 4 nights in Malta at St Paul's Bay in November with a mate. Wont be super hot but I can't wait. Any tips appreciated.
  23. That's brilliant Can't say I've heard of him before, I think he's going to have a loooong year!
  24. Don't be silly Trav. We all know deep down what our Tommy wants, despite his disdain for Labour, is a gentle pegging from Angie.. He might just need a couple of beers before hand..
  25. I'm curious to see what happens when someone shows Harry Victor Burton the shift key/caps lock.
