I've watched 6 eps now and won't be watching any more. I'm really surprised it has won so many plaudits, there's just so little about it. I thought with the exec producer being the creator of Scrubs that it would be right up my alley comedy wise but alas I've barely laughed 3 hours in.

Doesn't look like Cov to me but I do think these photos are HDR, which is a different shooting/editing process and results in images that have a slightly different appearance.

Watched the Instigators with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck on Apple last night. Nothing special by any means, but it's your usual action/crime that doesn't take itself too seriously with some funny bits and a few interesting little details in there which differentiate it a little from the usuals of the genre.

I've just started on Ted Lasso, very meh a few episodes in. When does it get good?

I do wonder if he's a pretty good championship winger but perhaps just doesn't have that edge needed at the PL that Fatawu clearly does. He's clearly got quality in him, that ball he put in for Vards was brilliant. We need to see more of that though, he does quite often seem to wait for the defender to make some sort of mistake without really doing a lot. I feel like maybe he's a little low on confidence at the minute.

Vary one was tight but looked offside, don't think it was a pen either, barely any contact. Not sure on Buonanotte

The thing that concerns me is the back line. We look disorganised and are making basic mistakes. I'm not sure there is any leadership there. We need to improve.

Been the better team for most of this game, played some nice stuff going forward and really should have had a couple of goals, 1 at the very least. Think Stolarcyzk could've done better with the 1st, Kristiansen and more so Coady massively at fault for the 2nd. Very disappointing to be let down at the back again, it really is gonna be a struggle as we look so disorganised. Some positive signs in terms of attack though.

Been binging Colin from accounts at my parents as I'd heard lots of good things and I don't have a TV license at home. Very funny. My kind of show.

Lamar No.1 rushing QB in 40 less games than Vick as well.

The NFL has actually taken a leaf out of the PL book on this front, IIRC this year is the first they've got games on every day of the week. Ravens played christmas day last year, I'm just grateful this year it's on Netflix and at a time I can watch without staying up silly hours. Beautiful opening drive for us!

Merry Christmas everyone! I find it quite hard this time of year but it is a real mixed bag. Often it feels so built up, it feels like there is so much societal pressure to be merry and I find that often leads to a bad time mentally. I miss my sister in Aus more so at Christmas than any other time of year and I often find myself in social situations where the expectation of a good time overwhelms me, but I know that I am fortunate. The best thing I can do is try and keep my mind as occupied as possible and not spend too much time idly wondering about every decision I've made in the last few months. I'm amazed they didn't give a pen for that, if the player hadn't hurdled him he would've been clattered and could well have had a broken leg. Anywhere else on the pitch someone goes in like that with so little control and it's a straight red no questions asked. He's incredibly lucky imo.

I don't really agree with booing him but I can understand it. I think Ruud to some extent has to defend Ward, especially if Stolarcyzk is unlikely to play on Thursday but RvN has to know now that he cannot play Ward again and he will very quickly lose confidence of the fan base if he does so. I also think that the club are primarily to blame. We all know Ward isn't good enough, we've seen more than enough to know that. As such, expecting anything other than below standard keeping from him is madness and it is more the fault of the club that we are in this position.

I wonder if the wolves player said something. There's no way Ward was ever getting that and as has been pointed out, surely if Ward said to leave it JJ would've had recriminations with him. The galling thing is that there is so much wrong with this and the first two things are simple communication. Ayew ****s off his man and doesn't say anything to JJ, there clearly isn't any useful communication between Ward and JJ and then the goalkeeping is horrific. If you didn't know any better you'd think someone was paying Ward to concede that goal.

I think this is pretty unfair. I do a lot of my Christmas shopping quite late and my spatial awareness is pretty good. On a more serious note I completely agree. Watching back the goals on MOTD, none of them should be going in. The 2nd is absolutely awful.

I've not been a big whisky drinker but a friend bought me the Glenlivet Founders Reserve and I must say I did enjoy that and have started trying more.
