  1. Are you a member of it or something? All I see is another thread and a restricted link.
  2. Off to Frankfurt on a stag do on Thursday for 3 nights with my oldest mates. Will be good craic I'm sure, but I would definitely rather have a chilled one in Sicily eating olives and pasta and drinking wine.
  3. I used to have the book this guy references by an FBI agent. What I read of it was interesting but the guy was so up his own arse I couldn't bear to read the whole thing. I think your point about reading comprehension probably applies in general. I see it at work all the time.
  4. Wish the lad good luck, I'll bet he's relieved it's gone through. Hopefully he does well and either proves himself worthy of a shot at the PL or we sell.
  5. Broadly I like these kits (simple, great colour schemes, nice trims on sleeves) but I cannot get on board with all of these collars, especially with buttons. Any football shirt with a button/buttons on is a wrong'un in my eyes. I include our 2017 (?) kit in that too. Get rid.
  6. Done a few bikepacking trips, I'm very keen to do LEJOG. I've heard the start is very up and down! Don't have any tips but wish you all the best bud, very jealous. Keep us posted. Curious to see what set up you're using.

    When Taken

  8. This. I'm not sure I'd even bother with a regularisation certificate unless you're looking at significant works and putting a good wedge into it. If it was built 30 years ago it will be nowhere near current regs and you could be opening up a big can of worms for no reason.
  9. Environment Agency Pension funds are partially invested in the water companies - that is to say the EA are benefitting from the abject performance of our water companies whilst our waterways get sicker and sicker. Nothing wrong with that all. https://www.windrushwasp.org/single-post/unbelievable-1
  10. Wow, that's robbery. Where's that from?
  11. Thanks for the memories, rest easy Shakey.
  12. Not sure about the rest of you mudbloods but my mum has gone back to circa 1750 on ancestry.com and it's a full English. *Apart from the Egyptian woman my grandad married before meeting my grandma when he was stationed there. The old dawg.
  13. I think Fabrizio Romano should start posting covid updates. "New variant confirmed... here we go!"
  14. It feels like many need a safehouse in life right now - not just from the football forum.
  15. One of the deceased is a neice of someone I know well. It's so disappointing that this is the reaction. It is not relevant to what has happened in the slightest. .
  16. Reinforces what we all know about the state of our transfers/spending (and Everton's notably too) when we have a heavy PSR penalty coming in spite of this.
  17. Well yes, of course. I didn't mean to imply that Edwards was innocent, I was just curious about the legal definition and how that could be applied. Obviously if you were sent something like that completely innocently and reported it immediately you wouldn't be getting charged, although you will still have technically "made" an image by the above definition.
  18. Seems an odd definition, specifically the unsolicited part. Edwards has "made" a number of images, so in theory this could just be opening images of child pornography sent to you unsolicited? I suppose the word made is just open enough to be able to apply it to various circumstances where indecent images are being stored and there is some participatory element in being issued with these images.
  19. Merseyside Police statement: We can confirm that emergency services are in Southport following a major incident this morning, Monday 29 July. At around 11.50am, we were called to a property on Hart Street to reports of a stabbing. There are a number of reported casualties and more details will be confirmed when possible. Armed police have detained a male and seized a knife. He has been taken to a police station. Please avoid the area while we deal with this incident. There is no wider threat to the public.
  20. I don't want to be a policeman, therefore I cannot criticise a policeman for kicking a man who is prone and being tasered twice on the head. Makes sense.
  21. Had to leave the house this morning at 5.25 to get to a 10.30 meeting less than 100 miles away in Mansfield. Gotta love travelling east to west on our trains!
  22. I've always thought Lando seems like a pretty decent level headed lad, I think he was just frustrated after having to give up the place despite being so much quicker. We probably get slightly bias coverage re Max but bloody hell he comes off as such a bellend. None of them are good losers, they wouldn't be where they are if they were, but my god he is head and shoulders above the rest. Never seems to accept even the smallest hint of wrong-doing on his part.
  23. I know the patterns are in again and I get it but some of these kits are trying way too hard.

  25. In complete agreement. I won't be buying either but if I was that way inclined I'd be buying the Ladies version for sure.
