  1. Another deadline day deal, why do we always leave it so late? Another 30s ex EPL player as well. I didnt see that coming of course. --edit-- At least its only 6 months deal so thats more sensible than usual.
  2. Jakub is fine, goals conceded is primarily down to tippy tappy.
  3. I noticed couple of games back, half the shirts had sponsor on, and the other half didnt, is disorganised everywhere.
  4. I think its more likely if we relegated to League 1, the idea that we will become a steady EPL club again isnt realistic, but also the club would not be at a desirable price to buy. The most likely way he leaves us, is a sustained period of no EPL money, and then a complete loss of appetite maybe even dismal finances that its forced via an admin process.
  5. Looks the same to me when not paying, and the popup to try and entice me was £2.99.
  6. Yeah he thinks very highly of Rudkin as well.
  7. I placed (£10) it at 10/1 earlier in the season, being offered £15.72 cash out at the moment. Bet365.
  8. BBC said he said manager needed more time then sacked few hours later.
  9. You dont have to like and agree with your boss, but its not an excuse to not be professional.
  10. Yeah, I am emotionless over the news, we not addressing the key issues. I simply dont care who is manager at the moment, its a odd feeling. All I want is KP and Rudkin gone.
  11. Creative accounting combined with sensible player contracts, everything would be good within a few years.
  12. Sensible clubs would have either negotiated his exit or have him nowhere near the first team, not even in training. Under Pearson this clown would be gone as he valued good ethic from his players.
  13. Manager sacked as a diversion to appease ignorant fans.
  14. We are skint, but PSR is also a mess, as they cant manage the club effectively.
  15. Pretty stupid, and I wonder how many fans are falling for this blame the manager for the mismanagement of the club. They didnt even appoint a new sporting director first, and still no new CEO. KP out!!.
  16. Lower priority than replacing directors, owner, and would be weird before a new sporting director came in.
  17. For the people asking where its going. A sensible club might have 60% of revenue on wages. So 100m revenue, 60m wages. This then leaves 40m in this example for amortisation, and other football expenses. But if you have 100m revenue, and wages that cost 106m. Then you have to make a 6m profit on player transfers to just to pay the wage bill, then further profit to cover amortisation and other footballing expenses. This is how you can end up selling a 40m player and still be broke.
  18. Apparently the women's game has fixture congestion issues whilst it has a tiny sized league. So a cup competition will have CL clubs not taking part at all. Maybe it would help if they started the season before September and stopped all the mid season breaks. Cut internationals of which is too many. The game is in a worst state than the men's in terms of priority of what games are played, integrity and so forth.
  19. Our wages arent fook all, people talk a lot about transfer fee's but historically they havent been our problem.
  20. Is it all about footballing results then? If Ashley stopped the PSR problems, stabilised contracts, employed more competent directors, stopped the requirement for tippy tappy, I would consider it an improvement. But havent looked much in to these sort of things during his Newcastle reign.
  21. Idea seems too sensible, far more likely we just let him ride out full contract.
  22. 60k and 50k in the Championship is mental, those levels are not ok.
  23. We still giving out generous contracts PSR isnt just about transfer fees. I feel I agree with this, make a decision on what is considered the way of thinking now, and any dispute carries on in the form of appeal.
