Where is this news of him kicking off? If he is unhappy at not playing it at least should be easier to shift him in the summer if we decide we dont need him for next season.

Yep our wage bill was obscene. How it got to that point without a massive increase in non TV income to justify it is down to those who run the club. They basically took a gamble on us progressing with regular CL. We won the league, FA cup, 2 seasons where we were rooted in top 4 for entire season, massive increase in international following, but not the sponsorship gains and sales expected from that.

We make good and bad passes every game, when we win fans overlook the bad, when we lose they focus on them. For the first goal we was playing a high line under instruction from the manager. Only way Faes is in the right position is if he breaks those instructions. I really hope the players are not been shouted at every time they make a bad pass in a game or something.

Strider wasnt in the post match stream, seen he has made a post now which is good, as I want to see his point of view after defeats as well not just a pat on the back when we win games. Your observations are interesting and do indeed suggest they didnt play as we predicted.

We had the same issues under Rodgers, foxes talkers who refused to believe when the manager got it wrong would be blaming things on players. I have never called an opposing opinion bollocks though.

Didnt see any mistakes in defense by players. (high line under instruction of Enzo). Some chances were missed but is normal in the game. Game was lost on tactical naivety, Basically Carrick beat Enzo. All these FT posts blaming players for tactical issues. It happened under Rodgers as well, week after week people worshipping the guy kept blaming players. Thread is a knee jerk post though.

I dont remember us having 4 missed clear cut chances, 2 so 3-2. But football very rarely has a team scoring every chance they have, if it was normal then matches would be finishing in double digits many games. Boro also had their own missed chances. The game I watched, Boro played with quality in first half to get their 2-0 lead, and sat back in the second able to absorb enough attacks to win out 2-1.

One of the reasons Vardy was effective last game in my opinion is because he was a late sub. Didnt need to last 90 mins. Daka was effective for us for a while but seems to have dropped off, maybe losing Ndidi in the team had an impact with him. So for me its Cannon/Vardy, but dont know who out of the two should start, probably Cannon, as Vardy is likely to be more effective end of games now I think. Outside of the strikers KDH and Mavididi are our biggest goal threats, but KDH isnt being allowed to shoot now unless he is clear one on one, also feel Mavididi perhaps has been told the same as well.

I wasnt surprised by the result yesterday, we have for quite a few games not looked convincing and have not done well against better quality teams in this division and had already lost to them, perhaps the only surprise was going 2 goals behind instead of one, which I think was a first for us this season.

I said to Leeds. The battle of manipulation on whats happening is funny though. I didnt try to find X games that makes things look worse, I simply seen the post on reddit and copied it over. But yes Saints in 3rd have also closed the gap, depending on what you think the likelihood of them getting points from their game in hand is.

8 games ago Leeds were 17 points behind us, now 9, there is 13 games left. Really grateful now Saints and Leeds still to play each other.

First half 5 mins stoppage but 3 mins added on, didnt count the minutes in the second but 4 seems awfully low for the new averages this season.

Both goals were tactical naivety. Some miracle defending or goalkeeping might have prevented but I have no blame on the defenders for either.

He does seem to have a tendency to lose faith in KDH and Mavididi in games (subbed of a lot), but yeah I heard cannon coming on and thought two strikers then seen he was playing as a winger.

Hoping Strider analyses last game, as curious if he thinks was any obvious problems. For me I think we was tactically naive perhaps with how open we were at back allowing the counters. I lay no fault with the defenders, just tactical issues. When we were searching for goals in second half it felt we were making too much effort to find someone in the box instead of making something happen from outside the box. If thats what Tielemans63 means by taking the handbrake off, then I agree, the urgency also didnt seem to go up enough until the last 1/4 of the game.

A draw would be a decent result but we need to play to win because we will lose playing for a draw. Every time I have watched Leeds lately they look really comfortable. But given todays result, I think this game is massive.
