Arsenal, Bournemouth, Southampton, Forest. 2 WINS needed from these next 4. Otherwise, he should absolutely go. He may be gone if we lose heavily to Bournemouth though, as there is a 2 week gap to Southampton, Forest and Ipswich. After that, Man U away and Chelsea, which I wouldn't want a new Manager starting with. I hate changing Managers, but I also recognise the growing toxicity amongst the fan base, much of which is becoming increasingly justified. For those wanting Cooper out now, just remember that he was most definitely not Top's first choice, so I do expect he will be sacked earlier than some predict.

We were always likely to be in a relegation battle for most, if not all of the season. You only have to look at the other two teams that came up, both below us, to know the step up is still huge. I can't find anyone who thinks Cooper is making the right decisions though. He has a handful of games left before I believe it will be close to a 100% OUT, on here anyway. He has to someone how find some inner bravery and actually set us up to WIN games. I do believe we have a squad capable of finishing 15th-17th, but ONLY if we have a Manager that also believes that.

5 Games - 0 win, 3 draws, 2 losses (6 total) I am still sticking with my minimum 10 game rule before I start calling for him to be OUT. That will trigger people in here who were calling for him to be sacked after 1 game, and I get that 4 more games could be somewhat costly. However, we are not as bad as some are declaring here, but we are underperforming on the pitch and there are some glaringly obvious mistakes Cooper is making, that he seems either unaware of, or too stubborn to address. He has 4 more games to get things going or I will join the OUT brigade, and I suspect there will be very few left with any patience to continue advocating to hold on any longer. He must wake-up now and start making better decisions with line-ups, tactics and substitutions, or his time here will peter out, and rightly so.

Should have started with 3 DCM's...

Well, another player I have potentially got wrong. I was not expecting him to be our No.9 this season, but was more than ready to have him as an option from the bench. I guess Enzo and now Cooper, were spot on about him and he just isn't that good. -
You're probably right, and other than starting again with a new stadium, I think most extensions will look a bit like a tack on with the way our stadium is designed. It just looks a bit cheap and tacky in my opinion. That bubble design only seems to work when fully wrapped around the stadium, like the Allianz arena. Hopefully, it looks better in person when finished. I do like the rest of the redevelopment around the ground though.

This post echoes my thoughts too. I was not excited by the appointment at all, but after listening to Forest fans and hearing the man himself, I thought I could get on board for 10-15 games and started to believe he might be the type of "backs against the wall" Manager that may be needed for a relegation battle. However, I have been disappointed with him so far. Not as triggered and OTT as some in here, but enough to start thinking he isn't going to last much longer if he continues with these team selections and substitutions. He has actually cobbled together a pretty decent squad now, with some players from last season performing OK so far, and also the new signings looking fairly decent too. So much so, it feels like he should be getting more from them, and he can't do that if he is picking the same players and setting us up with such a negative mindset. The 3 DCM's is a woeful approach, even away from home, and to give credit to the players, they have done their best to make it work. However, I think long-term if he persists (looking likely!) then this will completely stifle us and we will struggle to win games. The decision to bring on Coady as yet another CB, was another worrying insight to his way of thinking. My big hope, is that he stumbles across a formula, whether in a cup game or enforced by injury, that pushes him to move away from this ultra conservative style, and into a system that gives us more attacking threat and less of this hang on for dear life strategy. As each game passes though, I am not seeing any signs of him being aware of our issues. Worrying, as this place is becoming increasingly toxic towards him, and toxicity will not help in a fight for survival.

I didn’t expect us to go 2-0 up. i did expect us to concede an equaliser in extra time.

He may not get to 10 games at this rate. Selecting that line-up after what he has seen so far, is a disgraceful decision. Is he really this anti-football? I didn't think he would be this bad.

Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)

This is a tough game for us, but I feel like Cooper has to get a win, otherwise this place is going to get very toxic, especially if that is the lineup. -
I'll give you 50p for it. £40 if you can remove the number.

This idea that the Premier League will get referees into a dark room and demand that Leicester are screwed by VAR, is pretty laughable. The PL will want to brush this whole farce under the table. Leicester just need to get their house in order and stick within the rules from now on. PL won't be able to touch us if so.
-
Suspect the majority will like that we stuck it to the PSR and Premier League. I think it helps that is has been decided very early into the season, and before a relegation battle has fully taken shape. Everton and Forest will moan the most, but Forest will stay up and quickly forget. Everton though...

I don't think our squad is much better than anyone else's actually, if we take off our blue tinted glasses that is. I suspect Cooper will be given 10 more games, and if we are being cut adrift from 17th, then he will go. We are a much better prospect for a Manager without the -6 points, but I expect it will be Moyes... Let's give Cooper a chance in the next handful of games though. He may surprise us.
-
Well, it is not going to happen for at least another 10 games, so park this idea until it is at least a realistic option.

The Premier League deserve this. PSR has been a joke, and was put in place to stop what we achieved in 15/16 ever happening again. Ironic that it is us again, who have taken it to the big boys and won. I don't think this will be appealed, as it looks pretty clear cut to me. PL will grumble but move on. I suspect many other fans will also enjoy the Premier League's humiliation. A minority will whinge of course. Let this be a huge wake-up call for Top though. Time to get back to running this club properly and within the future rules. Huge boost for us staying up as well. I think we can do it now, although it will be a battle until the last few games. Buckle up everyone! The crazy life of being a Leicester fan continues... What the hell next?!

Hermansen Ricardo - Vestergaard - Faes - Kristiansen Skipp - Winks Fatawu - Buonanotte - Mavididi Vardy Justin at LB is the only other thing I would consider changing. -

I think we have cobbled together a decent enough team now, but it does feel like a bottom 5 squad and it is depressing to think how far we have fallen. Ah well. Such is life.
