  1. He can't handle the pressure. He is not a Manager. He is a coach that should work under someone who is prepared to make big decisions. Enzo has frozen.
  2. Guys, the players are tired and Enzo is worried for their health... Let them rest during these last 30minutes. Player health comes first
  3. He had great success in the first half of the season. Whether this was more down to the quality of the squad, is debatable though. However, as soon as we hit a bad patch, he changed nothing. He has either frozen and fears changing anything that initially brought him success. OR He is so stubborn and unwilling to change his approach in anyway no matter the results. Either one is unacceptable. He may just get us staggering over the line with help from one of Leeds or Ipswich wobbling, but I hope we don't gloss over the serious red flags he is showing us. He will no doubt be given a chance if we do go up by Top, but I would bet big that he will be totally unsuited to a Premier League relegation battle. Stubborn and scared! Awful combo as a Manager.
  4. Enzo was likely unhappy with our urgency and told the players to calm down and play it around the back more so we don't lose the ball...
  5. This is what happens when a Manager stands still. Fails to act when wheels are starting to come off. Enzo has frozen and his inaction could cost us promotion. He has to be brave and rotate players and change tactics and take the handbrake off in games when we need urgency and a ruthless desire to win. We are not going to be promoted unless Ipswich or Leeds have a major drop off.
  6. Don't worry guys. Enzo will be calling for calm and patience for the 2nd half. We don't want to try to score too early now do we? Why rush these things. Chill...
  7. Fancy being top of the league but such a universally disliked team by us. It is such a weird time to be a Leicester fan.
  8. Similarities to Rodgers are astounding now. We are so easy to score against. Only takes 1 chance and against the run of play. Rinse and repeat!
  9. I absolutely hate that attitude and statement from Enzo. It may be true, but in this crucial moment in the season, I want to hear him talk about how our players are warriors and ready to battle for promotion. What is the point of his statement? It’s not going to change the schedule. It just prepares an excuse for him and the players and gives them the wrong mindset. It really feels like we are tumbling over the finishing line here and Enzo is part of the reason why. If he does get us promoted and stays on. I hope he learns some big lessons from these last few months, as he has not adapted to this challenging period well at all IMO.
  10. Leeds and Ipswich will win every game said they!
  11. For anyone just joining. Ipswich are in the 38th minute of extra time, with the referee waiting for them to score before blowing the final whistle
  12. wait for it..
  13. anddd you just know we won't win our game in hand either
  14. Golden Goal, but only if Ipswich score.
  15. Ipswich don't really need chances, they just need to kick it anywhere towards the goal, and let it do the usual pinball off 5 players and a goat and go in. Wait for the 96th minute though.
  16. We need to be very patient. Even when we need to score a goal with minutes to play and promotion on the line.
  17. I think Enzo is succumbing to fear. Bare with me... He found a formula that worked well for a large chunk of the season. Whether that is more down to the quality of the squad is up for debate though. More recently, we have seen a big drop off in results. A pretty spectacular collapse from an all but certain promotion, to one that is now in the balance. How has Enzo addressed this rapid decline? Nothing. Why? I believe because his inexperience and a fear of changing a formula that previously worked. He has stubbornly stuck to the exact same style/tactics and even the same plays over and over. e.g. Ndidi's run for the Fatawa pass which is so predictable and increasingly preventable with many genuine attacking moments stifled by overusing it. He has also stuck with pretty much the same line-up, no matter how badly someone performed * cough Woet * with players like Coady available. There also seems to be a fear to make substitutions, and often only occurs when he is forced to and even then, they seem to come too late or not enough made. It feels like Enzo has been caught in the headlights and is freezing in the moment. Long-term, I think this is why he will struggle badly in the Premier League. You have to take risks as a Manager, change a starting line-up, play a different formation or system, make subs at half-time if needed to change a game, and give the opposition something different that they weren't so drilled for. Any Manager can stick to one system and line-up when things are going well, but the really great Managers are those that can change and adapt to times when things are not going well. Enzo is falling well short of adapting and 'That's Football' and 'It is what it is'... really doesn't cut it.
  18. We are going to lose 1-0. This is the way…
  19. Take our chances and comfortable win. How often have we not done that though! Millwall fighting to stay up, but does feel like we may have some momentum building once more and we should have too much for them. 2-0 Win
  20. His attitude to when we lose is too often ‘That’s football’ Taking so long to make changes also seems a very much ‘Let’s be patient’ mantra. I think we have competitive players in our squad but this very calm, patient and meh response to losses, has no doubt chipped away at our competitive spirit IMO. I hope he gets us over the line as it has still been a very impressive debut season for him, however, I am seeing some red flags for the long term with Enzo.
  21. Great win today but I really hate this from Enzo - "I told them at half-time to be very patient’ I have seen him gesturing for calmness and patience from the sidelines too during the game when we desperately need a goal. I think this is why our team often looks so slow and lacking urgency. Got it done late today, but it is definitely a pattern in Enzo’s style and I’d much prefer urgency when we need it and a more ruthless approach from him.
  22. I imagine this is where we will fall well short of putting up any kind of credible defence and probably why we would prefer to fight the PL and EFL, than actually engage with them. I suspect it will be clear as day, that we knowingly broke the rules and had very little plan to get our spending under control. How else can you explain us holding on to players last summer and spending millions more on others, some of which aren't even starting for us. Behind closed doors, and off the official minutes, I suspect we either planned to try get away with any punishment or factored in a minor one, rather than try to run the club properly and get everything in order. It is a shame the club and the fans will suffer most from this, and not those in charge that are 100% responsible. Looks like they are all keeping their jobs!
  23. I think we would have heard rumours by now if they were in the sh1t. We have been hearing about our issues for weeks now. Of course, it would help massively if other clubs get dragged into this. We need it to become such a farce that the PL and EFL have to change their approach.
  24. Fcuk me! If ever we needed a win to lift some clouds around here! No idea how this news will impact the squad, probably very little as no doubt the club will be downplaying it to them! I think we will win this, but Birmingham down there scrapping, so I expect another nervy game unfortunately.
  25. Think that was more media driven to be honest. Who got relegated and who would be most pissed off kinda lazy journalism. No way did our board have the audacity to officially be considering legal action against another club, knowing what we have been up to!
