  1. 10 mins down the road from me and I've never been. Mainly as I'm not really a m/c enthusiast. Having looked on line: Visits to the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience Exhibition, Café and Shop are free. Factory Tours need to be pre-booked and are £25 per head. Factory visitor experience | For the Ride (triumphmotorcycles.co.uk) Think I'll make the "long" drive down the A47 and take a free look.
  2. I need to re-grout the bathroom floor. I have scraped out much of the old grout and hopefully gone deep enough to allow new grout to be more than just a skim. My question is, having found it difficult getting a good finish on grouting, what tips would anyone that has done it to a decent finish, have? Also I need to replace some sealant. When I've done this before, I've cut the nozzle of the tube at an angle but I seem to often over apply and have to wipe a lot off using a wet finger (!) There's always a lot of sealant that "overflows" along the sides of the gap I'm trying fill neatly which I then struggle to wipe away cleanly. @tom27111

  4. Depends what you mean as offal, I guess. "Beef offal includes the stomachs, tripe, or large stomach, brains, heart, liver, tongue, and kidneys. For young beef, or veal, a number of additional parts, such as spinal marrow, trotters (feet), mesentery, and the sweetbread, are counted among the variety meats".
  5. Not meaning to be pedantic but, isn't J19 the Catthorpe Interchange? I guess you meant J21 otherwise you really have taken the long way round.
  6. Equally confusing is the Fosse Park roundabout heading out of the city. The road markings directing which lane to use are just wrong.
  7. I think there's an element of sarcasm it @Jattdogg's post.
  8. From USA Today website 20/10/23: "WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Friday sided with the Biden administration in its fight with Missouri over the state’s controversial "Second Amendment Preservation Act,” upholding a ruling that put on hold the state's ban on federal gun laws. The law, signed by Republican Gov. Mike Parson in 2021, subjects police who attempt to enforce federal gun laws to lawsuits and $50,000 civil penalties. Conservative officials in the state celebrated its passage, arguing it established Missouri as a state with some of the most permissive gun laws in the nation. Without comment Friday, the Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling that had blocked the law, meaning it cannot be enforced while the litigation continues in lower courts. Justice Clarence Thomas said he would have granted the state's request for a stay".

  21. Yes they do. There's also a new extension housing a decent sized restaurant area as an addition to the small rooms. It's pricey though.
  22. @jonthefox We arrived the day Storm Babet hit so yes, extremely wet. Very grey and windy. Tried to make it to Cromer but had to turn back due to flooding. @bovrilManaged walks to Holkham and Thornham beaches today before the rain returned. The local pub in the village, The Lord Nelson, is cracking and the man himself used it when he lived here. As we drove around in the rain we saw several pubs that looked worth a visit. It's a lovely unspoilt and uncrowded area. Maybe a return visit will be in the offing when the weather is better.
